Abstract: A device (1) for rail vehicles. The rail vehicles device incudes a predominantly hollow axle tube (2) extending along a longitudinal direction (LR) and ending in a first wheel flange (3), and a wheel support (4) extending opposite to the longitudinal direction (LR), having a wheel bearing (5), a second wheel flange (6) and a conical mandrel (7). The second wheel flange (6), the first wheel flange (3) and a wheel (8) are arranged therebetween with a wheel hub (9) connected to each other via a flange connection. The conical mandrel (7) is inserted from the wheel holder (4) in a positive-locking manner opposite to the longitudinal direction (LR) through the wheel hub (9) of the wheel (8) into the interior of the axle tube (2) and ends at the fastening element (11), which is arranged and cast into the axle tube (2) and is connected thereto.

Abstract: An auxiliary wheel including a wheel hub and a tire, the wheel hub includes an outer wheel hub and an inner wheel hub and the tire is mounted on the outer wall of the outer wheel hub. The outer wheel hub and the inner wheel hub are detachably connected through a first connection component. When the first connection component unlocks the connection between the outer wheel hub and the inner wheel hub, relative rotation is generated between the outer wheel hub and the inner wheel hub with bearings disposed between the inner wheel hub and the outer wheel hub to reduce friction. Friction is reduced between the outer and inner wheels, thereby increasing the upper limit of the auxiliary wheel rotation speed. A nut and bolt arrangement is disposed in the nut groove to firmly fix the ring on the outer wall of the outer wheel.

The flange portion comprises a plurality of main extended portions in which a plurality of fastening holes are formed to penetrate in an axial direction while being arranged to be spaced apart from each other along a circumferential direction so that a wheel is mounted to the flange portion. The plurality of main extended portions are formed to extend along a plurality of virtual extension reference lines which extend in the radially outward direction.

Abstract: A wheel hub assembly is presented by this disclosure. In one exemplary embodiment, a wheel hub apparatus includes a wheel assembly having front and back bushing plate assemblies. Each bushing plate assembly includes a cover plate attached to a bushing structure. Further, the bushing structure includes an axel aperture, positioning ridges, semi-circular notches, and bolt apertures. Each semi-circular notch corresponds to one of the bolt apertures and is configured to receive and position a bolt in that bolt aperture so that the corresponding bushing plate assembly is rotationally secured to that bolt. The apparatus further includes a wheel hub having front and back wheel hub assemblies and configured to secure a tire. Also, each wheel hub assembly includes a flanged portion forming a cavity with a wheel assembly seat positioned at the center of the cavity and configured to receive the corresponding wheel assembly.

The well portion has at least three transition portions having varying thickness cross-sectional profiles. A wheel disc is secured to the rim. The wheel disc includes a hub located centrally within the wheel disc and has a plurality of bolt holes formed therein.

Abstract: A universal temporary wheel is provided that has a universal aperture pattern that is adapted to mate with different configurations of lug bolt patterns to enable the wheel to be used with various wheel hub configurations having various lug bolt patterns. The universal temporary wheel can be installed while a damaged wheel is being repaired to allow an automobile or other vehicle to be moved. Abstract: A two-piece rail wheel assembly is disclosed herein that allows a tire to be replaced without requiring disassembly of the rail vehicle or removal of components directly attached to the axle. In various embodiments, the rail wheel assembly comprises a center wheel hub attached to an axle of a railway vehicle and a tire configured to engage the rail. The center wheel hub and the tire may be bolted together via a stepped (or recessed) interface. When used with in-board bearing configurations, this rail wheel assembly does not require using a press machine, detaching the truck assembly from the rail car, or detaching the wheelset from the truck. When used with out-board bearing configurations, this rail wheel assembly eliminates the need to use a press machine or remove any other components of the wheelset from the axle.
