Abstract:
A signal processing device according to an aspect of the present disclosure comprises: cutout means that cuts out a target signal in a predetermined section, and an overlap signal in a section not matching the predetermined section but overlapping with at least part of the predetermined section from an input signal; conversion means that converts the target signal and the overlap signal into a phase component signal in a frequency domain with respect to each frequency; gradient calculation means that, based on the phase component signal, calculates, at each frequency, a phase gradient that is the gradient of the phase component at the frequency; score calculation means that calculates a score relating to the sudden change characteristic of the input signal according to the phase gradients; and determination means that, based on the score, determines the presence or absence of a sudden change in the target signal.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a system and a method involve receiving a raw signal collected by a sensor that pertains to a temporal trend, creating a reference signal of a known amplitude and frequency, adding the reference signal to the raw signal to form a modulated signal, decomposing the modulated signal to obtain a decomposed signal, and conducting time-frequency analysis on the decomposed signal to detect abnormal patterns.
Abstract:
An electronic stability control indication system including a bar-graph-type display, a processor, and a memory. The memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, control the operation of the electronic stability control indication system. The system receives a first signal from a yaw rate sensor indicative of an actual yaw rate of the vehicle. The system then determines a target yaw rate and a threshold difference for the vehicle. If the difference between the actual yaw rate and the target yaw rate exceeds the difference threshold, an electronic stability control system is activated. The system also provides a visual representation of the difference between the actual yaw rate and the target yaw ratio relative to the threshold difference on the bar-graph-type display.
Abstract:
This invention provides an overload protection device wherein a dangerous situation warning is given to workers in architectural construction when a load value imposed on a temporary column reaches a preset value. The device comprises a load pedestal above and a base pedestal below, a load detecting equipment which detects the load value on the load pedestal after converting the load value into a hydraulic pressure value, a pressure detecting equipment which operates when the pressure reaches the preset value, and a notice equipment which informs workers that the load value imposed on the temporary column has reached the preset value.
Abstract:
A method for detecting knocking provides for weighting or limitation of the knocking threshold. For this purpose, on the one hand a normal range of the reference level is defined and in the case of a deviation from this normal range the knocking threshold is multiplied by a weighting factor less than 1 and, alternatively, the knocking threshold is limited when a prescribable limit value is reached.
Abstract:
An aircraft extending along a longitudinal aircraft axis and having a nose wheel pivotal about an upright wheel axis can be maneuvered by a tractor extending along a longitudinal tractor axis and adapted to engage the nose wheel of the aircraft. The tractor and aircraft axes can extend at an angle to each other that should not exceed a predetermined maximum turnout angle. A turnout protection system has structure on the aircraft that is directed generally perpendicular of the aircraft axis and that is only directed toward the tractor when the aircraft and tractor axes extend generally at the maximum turnout angle relative to each other. At least one electronic sensor on the tractor directed toward the aircraft detects the structure when the aircraft and tractor axes extend generally at the maximum turnout angle relative to each other. A controller on the tractor takes action, e.g. emits an alarm or takes over the tractor steering and/or braking, when the electronic sensor detects that the aircraft and tractor axes extend generally at the maximum turnout angle relative to each other.
Abstract:
An electronic device, in particular a system for safeguarding vehicle occupants, comprises at least two acceleration-sensitive sensors arrangements. To test the readiness for operation of the sensor arrangements, output signals from the sensor arrangements are compared. Output signals, which occur as the result of accelerations arising during normal operation of the vehicle, are also drawn upon when the comparison is made.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a trigger circuit which compares amplitudes of the signal waveform of a periodic signal to reference values dependent upon the previous signal waveform of this signal. A trigger signal is emitted when the particular reference value is reached. The trigger circuit includes a memory for the particular reference value. The reference value is determined from a portion of the period of the signal to determine a precise triggering point.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for evaluating electrical measurement values derived from a test stand in which upper and lower tolerance values, stored for example on a punched card, are coverted into analog signals with the upper and lower value signals being applied to one difference forming circuit while the measurement value and one of the tolerance signals is applied to a second difference forming circuit. The resulting difference signals are divided, one into the other, and applied to an analog display.
