摘要: A heated water reservoir for use as a heated water dispenser, in conjunction with a beverage dispenser or for other uses. The heated water reservoir (5) includes a baffle (20) which communicates with an outlet port (7) positioned along the reservoir and an upper portion of the reservoir. In the reservoir a quantity of water is retained in a heated condition with an upper portion of the reservoir containing generally heated water of a higher temperature. An upper edge (35) of the baffle is positioned relative to the upper portion of the heated water reservoir such that passage of water from the reservoir into a cavity (22) defined, at least in part, by the baffle facilitates flow of water over the upper edge and into the outlet port. In this manner, water having a higher temperature is dispensed from the reservoir.

摘要: Self-supporting timber box having a base panel, lateral walls each projecting perpendicularly from one side of the base panel to delimit the profile of an internal space of the box, a plurality of internal partitions (14) which are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the base panel and which extend between the lateral walls in such a way as to divide the internal space into a plurality of compartments intended to receive a heat-insulating lining, and a cover panel, wherein it has at least one stiffening element (16) which is positioned in the internal space transversely with respect to the internal partitions and which has an area of connection (17, 18) to each of the internal partitions to increase the buckling resistance of the internal partitions, the area of connection extending over a depth greater than or equal to half of the distance between the base and cover panels.

摘要: A system for offloading LNG (liquified natural gas) from a tanker (26) in shallow waters, for regasing, or heating the offloaded LNG to produce gaseous hydrocarbons, or gas, for pressurizing the gas, and for flowing the gas to an onshore station (56), includes a structure that is fixed to the sea floor and projects above the sea surface and aids in mooring the tanker. In one system, the structure that is fixed to the sea floor is a largely cylindrical tower (12) with a mooring yoke (20) rotatably mounted on its upper end. A floating structure (14) such as a barge that weathervanes, has a bow end pivotally connected to a distal end of the yoke, so the barge is held close to the tower but can drift around the tower with changing winds, waves and currents. The tanker is moored to the tower so the barge and tanker form a combination that weathervanes as a combination. Regas and pressurizing equipment (32, 34) for heating and pressuring the LNG, and any crew quarters (36), are all located on the barge, so a low cost tower can be used. In another system, the structure is a breakwater (180).

摘要: An integrated energy hub facility capable of bringing together all aspects of hydrocarbon and other fluid product movement under controlled conditions applicable to the reception, storage, processing, collection and transmission downstream is provided. Input to the energy hub includes natural gas and crude from a pipeline or a carrier, LNG from a carrier, CNG from a carrier, and carrier-regassed LNG, as well as other products from a pipeline or a carrier. Storage can be above surface, in salt caverns or in subterranean formations and cavities, and include petroleum crude, natural gas, LPG, NGL, GTL and other fluids. Transmission downstream may be carried out by a vessel or other type of carrier and/or by means of a pipeline system. Cryogenic fluids are offloaded and sent to the energy hub surface holding tank, then pumped to the energy hub vaporizers and sent to underground storage and/or distribution.

摘要: A method for transportation and storage of a natural gas-containing product from a production site for the product. The product is separated into an oil phase and a gas phase and the gas phase is converted to a gas hydrate from which residual water is separated. The oil phase is then dehydrated and mixed with the gas hydrate to form a slurry which is stable through storage and transport.

摘要: A mechanical support mechanism for a device operating at cryogenic temperature where the cryogenic container vessel is situated within another larger container vessel. The apparatus provides means to secure the inner vessel to the outer vessel through a bottom-support component and a side-support component. These components consist of mating structures of different configurations that provide inner vessel with constraints for horizontal, lateral, vertical and rotational degrees of freedom while at the same time achieving minimal physical contacts between the inner and outer container vessels to reduce heat leak into the inner cryogenic container.
