摘要: An air control circuit including a safety function is simply formed from an air circuit. An air control circuit includes a main air line that controls an air device by concurrently turning on or off two external-pilot-operated electromagnetic valves, a pilot air line that supplies pilot air to the electromagnetic valves, and a pilot control line that switches the pilot air line between a supply state and an exhaust state. When one of the two electromagnetic valves suffers a breakdown to fail to be switched to an off position, air in the air device is exhausted through the other electromagnetic valve that has been switched to the off position to recover the air device, and the pilot air line is switched to the exhaust state by the pilot control line to prevent the two electromagnetic valves from restarting.

摘要: A propeller blade angle control circuit for a turboprop engine includes a propeller control unit controlling a supply of oil to modify an angle of propeller blades, a pump located upstream of the propeller control unit and providing the supply of oil from an engine oil return system to the propeller control unit, and a flow regulator between the pump and the propeller control unit, the flow regulator modulating a supply of oil to the propeller control unit. A bypass, downstream of the pump in the propeller blade angle control circuit, has an inlet fluidly coupled to the pump. The bypass is operable between a closed position and an open position in which a portion of the oil supplied to the propeller control unit is diverted away from the propeller blade angle control circuit. The open position is engaged when an oil pressure reaches a predetermined threshold.

The method includes determining a plurality of forces acting on an actuator of the hydraulic fluid subsystem, determining a plurality of parameters based on at least one of an actuator inlet flow rate, an actuator outlet flow rate, and the plurality of forces acting on the actuator, receiving a valve inlet pressure of at least one of oil and gas flowing through a pipe while entering a valve operationally coupled to the actuator and a valve outlet pressure of the at least one of the oil and the gas flowing through the pipe while flowing out of the valve, and monitoring the health of the hydraulic fluid subsystem based on at least one of the plurality of parameters, the valve inlet pressure, and the valve outlet pressure.

摘要: In an exemplary method of monitoring performance of a fluid driven actuator for a valve, pressurized fluid is supplied through an actuator supply line to an inlet port of the actuator during a first time period to operate the actuator from a normal position to an actuated position. Pressure changes corresponding to a fluid flow condition in the actuator supply line are measured during the first time period, with the measured pressure changes defining a valve cycle pressure profile including a first inflection point corresponding to movement of the actuator from the normal position to the actuated position. The valve cycle pressure profile is analyzed to identify a non-compliant condition in at least one of the valve and the actuator. An output communicating the identified non-compliant condition is then generated.
