    Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a hydraulic system that is used with a vehicle hitch, to raise and lower an implement attached to the hitch. The system has a lifting side, that raises the hitch, and a downforce side that applies downward pressure. Hydraulic actuators are used to apply the up or down force using supply lines coupled to both sides. A downforce pressure control valve controls an amount of hydraulic pressure is supplied to the downforce side. A mode select valve is fluidly coupled to the downforce pressure control valve and is used to select hitch operation between a double acting hitch position, a single acting hitch position, and a neutral position. A work port check valve is between the downforce side and the mode select valve to stop the fluid from flowing back into the system when de-energized or in the neutral position.

    Abstract: A controller of a work machine computes a target velocity of a fluid pressure actuator according to an operation signal from an operation device, computes target thrust or target torque of the fluid pressure actuator on the basis of a driven state of the fluid pressure actuator, and controls a velocity of the fluid pressure actuator by a meter-out control valve on the basis of the operation signal from the operation device and controls at least one of a pump and a meter-in control valve such that a pressure on a meter-in side of the fluid pressure actuator is equal to or higher than a predetermined value when a positive or negative sign of the target velocity as a computation result is different from a positive or negative sign of the target thrust or the target torque as a computation result.

    Abstract: A construction machine that precisely enables derivation of the operation characteristics of hydraulic actuators in a high-velocity area with less calibration operation is provided. A controller (10) has a calibration mode in which the controller (10) derives operation characteristics (α(xs)) representing a relation among a spool position (xs) of a meter-in valve (8a1), an operation velocity (Va) of a hydraulic actuator (4a), and a differential pressure (ΔP) across the meter-in valve (8a1), and is configured to, in a case where the spool position (xs) of the meter-in valve (8a1) has changed in a direction to increase the opening area of the meter-in valve (8a1) in the calibration mode, output a command signal to increase the opening area of a bleed-off valve (8b1) to a bleed-off solenoid proportional pressure-reducing valve (8b2) as a command signal to reduce the differential pressure (ΔP).

    Abstract: Provided is a work machine with which responsiveness of a hydraulic actuator can be improved when driving the hydraulic actuator through an electric lever-type operation device. A controller 100 further includes: an operation direction determining section 116 configured to determine operation directions of operation devices 2a and 2b; and a standby pressure switching command section 117 configured to output a standby pressure switching command to a first target pilot pressure correction section 112 or a second target pilot pressure correction section 113 which corresponds to a solenoid proportional valve that does not correspond to the operation direction from among first solenoid proportional valves 41a, 42a, 42b, 43a, 43b, and 44a and second solenoid proportional valves 41b, 42c, 42d, 43c, 43d, and 44b. The first target pilot pressure correction section and the second target pilot pressure correction section are configured to switch a first standby pressure α to a second standby pressure β set lower than the first standby pressure in a case in which the standby pressure switching command has been inputted.

    Abstract: A stage assembly (10) includes a stage (14), and a fluid actuator assembly (24) that moves the stage (14). The fluid actuator assembly (24) includes a piston housing (32) that defines a piston chamber (34); (ii) a piston (36) that separates the piston chamber (34) into a first chamber (34A) and a second chamber (34B); (iii) a supply valve (38C) that controls the flow of the working fluid (40) into the first chamber (34A); and (iv) an exhaust valve (38D) that controls the flow of the working fluid (40) out of the first chamber (34A). The supply valve (38C) has a supply orifice (250G) having a supply orifice area, and the exhaust valve (38D) has an exhaust orifice (352G) having an exhaust orifice area. Moreover, the supply orifice area is different from the exhaust orifice area. Further multiple valves of different sizes can be used in combination for the supply and exhaust for each chamber (34A), (34B).
