Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a hydraulic system that is used with a vehicle hitch, to raise and lower an implement attached to the hitch. The system has a lifting side, that raises the hitch, and a downforce side that applies downward pressure. Hydraulic actuators are used to apply the up or down force using supply lines coupled to both sides. A downforce pressure control valve controls an amount of hydraulic pressure is supplied to the downforce side. A mode select valve is fluidly coupled to the downforce pressure control valve and is used to select hitch operation between a double acting hitch position, a single acting hitch position, and a neutral position. A work port check valve is between the downforce side and the mode select valve to stop the fluid from flowing back into the system when de-energized or in the neutral position.

Abstract: A controller of a work machine computes a target velocity of a fluid pressure actuator according to an operation signal from an operation device, computes target thrust or target torque of the fluid pressure actuator on the basis of a driven state of the fluid pressure actuator, and controls a velocity of the fluid pressure actuator by a meter-out control valve on the basis of the operation signal from the operation device and controls at least one of a pump and a meter-in control valve such that a pressure on a meter-in side of the fluid pressure actuator is equal to or higher than a predetermined value when a positive or negative sign of the target velocity as a computation result is different from a positive or negative sign of the target thrust or the target torque as a computation result.

Abstract: A method actuates a hydraulic system for an actuation device of a motor vehicle. The hydraulic system has a pump and multiple valves which are each arranged between a system rail connected to a pump outlet and a hydraulic consumer. The pump is switched between a normal operation and an enhanced operation according to an existing total energy demand of the hydraulic consumers. In normal operation, the pump is driven when the system pressure is below a lower pressure threshold and switched off when the system pressure is above an upper pressure threshold. In the enhanced operation, the pump is permanently driven and each of the valves is operated according to an individual energy demand of the respective hydraulic consumer as soon as the system pressure achieves or exceeds a threshold value.

Abstract: A wheelchair lift with low energy consumption includes a platform assembly to receive a wheelchair. The wheelchair lift includes a hydraulic drive system to move the platform assembly between an entry level position and a ground level position. The wheelchair lift includes a fluid circuit being embodied to transport a hydraulic fluid from a tank using a pump driven by an electric motor to the hydraulic drive system to raise the platform assembly from the ground level position to the entry level position. The fluid circuit is further embodied to transport the hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic drive system via the pump to the tank, when lowering the platform assembly from the entry level position to the ground level position.

Abstract: A stage assembly (10) includes a stage (14), and a fluid actuator assembly (24) that moves the stage (14).
