Abstract: A valve subassembly includes a body plug, a poppet, and a seat carrier. The body plug includes a tubular side wall defining a central cavity and one or more lateral flow apertures in the side wall. The poppet includes axially extending upper and lower stem portions and a radially extending poppet sealing portion between the upper and lower stem portions, with the lower stem portion and the poppet sealing portion being received in the central cavity of the body plug. The seat carrier is assembled with the body plug and includes a central bore receiving the upper stem portion of the poppet therethrough, the seat carrier retaining a seat seal in radial alignment with the poppet sealing portion.

Abstract: In an exemplary method of monitoring performance of a fluid driven actuator for a valve, pressurized fluid is supplied through an actuator supply line to an inlet port of the actuator during a first time period to operate the actuator from a normal position to an actuated position. Pressure changes corresponding to a fluid flow condition in the actuator supply line are measured during the first time period, with the measured pressure changes defining a valve cycle pressure profile including a first inflection point corresponding to movement of the actuator from the normal position to the actuated position. The valve cycle pressure profile is analyzed to identify a non-compliant condition in at least one of the valve and the actuator. An output communicating the identified non-compliant condition is then generated.

Abstract: An actuator assembly includes a unitary actuator housing, a plurality of pilot valves, and a plurality of actuating members. The actuator housing defines a plurality of actuator cavities and a plurality of internal passages each extending from a corresponding actuation ports on the actuator housing to a corresponding one of the actuator cavities, and an internal pressurization passage extending from a single supply port on the actuator housing to a plurality of branch ports each adjacent a corresponding one of the actuation ports. The pilot valves each have an inlet port coupled to a corresponding branch port and an outlet port coupled to a corresponding actuation port. The actuating members are disposed in the corresponding actuator cavities and are movable within the actuator cavities in response to fluid pressurization of the single supply port and movement of the corresponding pilot valve to an open position.

Abstract: A fitting assembly includes a first component having a metal male threaded port including a male tapered threaded portion and an end face and a second component having a metal female threaded port including a female tapered threaded portion and a counterbore, the female threaded port threadably receiving the male threaded port. An apertured metal insert is disposed between the end face and the counterbore and includes first and second seal surfaces. Abstract: A hose assembly includes an inner core tube, a metal outer tube, a first coupling member, and a first collar. The first coupling member has an inboard nose portion extending into a first end of the inner core tube. Abstract: A valve includes a valve body having first and second fluid ports extending to a valve cavity, a seat carrier subassembly installed in the valve cavity and including a seat carrier body with a first annular inner wall defining a first flow aperture aligned with the first fluid port and a valve seat disposed in an annular recess surrounding the first annular inner wall, and a second annular inner wall defining a second flow aperture aligned with the second fluid port. A valve element is disposed within the valve cavity and is movable between a closed position sealing against the valve seat and an open position permitting fluid flow across the valve seat between the first and second flow apertures. An outer periphery of an orifice restriction is seated against an interior portion of one of the first annular inner wall and the second annular inner wall.
