Abstract: An inlet section for use in a hydraulic distributor including a valve body and a slider with a first area and a second area. The inlet section further including said slider being longitudinally slidable within the valve body between a first position in which it prevents passage of fluid from a high pressure line to a low pressure line, and a second position in which it enables passage of fluid. The inlet section further including a main spring active on the second area of the slider in a direction consistent with action of the second pressure and a control device of the slider. The control device of the slider includes a mechanical actuator member selectively active on the slider in a direction consistent with the action of the first pressure on the first area of the slider so as to force the slider in the second position.

Abstract: A method of preventing drippage in a liquid dispensing system includes generating at least a first proxy signal representing at least a first indirect measure of a position of a first automatic control valve (ACV), wherein the first ACV has positions ranging from fully closed to fully open. The method further includes recognizing, based on at least the first proxy signal, whether a failure state exists in which the first ACV has failed to close. The method further includes causing a second ACV to close when the failure state exists, wherein the second ACV is fluidically connected to the first ACV, and the second ACV has positions ranging from fully closed to fully open.

Abstract: A method of preventing drippage in a fluid dispensing system. The fluid dispensing system includes a first automatic control valve (ACV), an input of the first ACV connected to fluid-source of fluid, the first ACV having positions ranging from fully closed to fully open, and a second ACV, an input of the second ACV being connected to an output of the first ACV, and an output of the second ACV being connected to a nozzle, the second ACV having positions ranging from fully closed to fully open. The method includes generating a first proxy signal representing at least a first indirect measure of a position of the first ACV. The method includes recognizing, based on at least the first proxy signal that a failure state exists in which the first ACV has failed to close. The method includes causing the second ACV to close when the failure state exists.

Abstract: A particle blast apparatus includes a metering portion, a comminutor and a feeding portion. The metering portion and comminutor may each be configured to provide uniformity in the discharge of particles. The metering portion controls the particle feed rate, and may include a rotor, which may have V or chevron shaped pockets. The comminutor includes at least one roller which may be moved between and including a position at which the gap of the comminutor is at maximum and a position at which the gap is at minimum. The metering portion may particles direction into the feeding portion without a comminutor being present. The comminutor may receive particles directly from a source of blast media without a metering portion being present.
