    摘要: In a vehicle air conditioner, a flow control member is disposed in an inlet tank of a heating heat exchanger for heating air to be blown into a passenger compartment using a fluid as a heating source. In the heating heat exchanger, a ratio between a first area where the fluid flows, and a second area where the fluid does not flow is changed by controlling an operation position of the flow control member. Thus, a flow ratio between hot air from the first area of the heating heat exchanger and cool air from the second area thereof can be adjusted, so that the temperature of air blown into the passenger compartment can be adjusted.

In the preferred embodiment, the frame includes a casing having a top wall, a floor and three side walls, and the climate control unit is a heater having a filter, heat exchanger, and blower fan. Liquid coolant, warmed by the internal combustion engine of the bus, is circulated from the engine to the heat exchanger.

The electric-powered hot water pump is activated while the engine is stopped.     摘要: The present invention provides a turbo heater which utilizes a gas turbine engine and a heat exchanger assembly. The gas turbine engine is adapted to efficiently operate over a prolonged period of time and at varying power outputs without adverse or detrimental effects to the components thereof. For example, the gas turbine engine includes bearing assemblies and a fuel delivery systems which are uniquely designed for the demands of repeated cycling (i.e. starting and stopping), as well as operation at various power outputs without damage to the gas turbine engine. In addition, the use of exhaust gas from the gas turbine engine eliminates direct impingement of combustion on the heat exchanger element, thereby significantly increasing the durability and life span of the turbo heater.

    摘要: A heating system is provided for heating fresh water on boats, marine vessels and the like. The boat's water supply is connected to a hot water tank, which in turn is in fluid communication with a heat exchanger. The coolant line for a boat engine passes through the heat exchanger, through the hot water tank and back to the engine. Heat from the engine is transferred from the coolant line to the water in the hot water tank at a rate that varies with engine operation. The heat exchanger allows additional heat transfer to the water as the coolant and water pass through the heat exchanger. A sensor regulates circulation of water through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger may be retrofitted externally of an existing hot water tank by connecting the heat exchanger to existing water lines for the hot water tank and to an existing engine coolant line to effect heat transfer from the engine coolant line.
