A modular windshield washing and wiping apparatus, disposed adjacent to the lower edge of the windshield, comprises at least two modules, arranged to be assembled together and to the remainder of the vehicle. One of the modules contains a screen washing liquid so as to act as a reservoir for the latter, while another module carries the screen wiping equipment. The apparatus includes at least one further liquid reservoir, comprised in one of the modules.

An electromechanical driving device (1) for use in a tailgate of a motor vehicle is therefore provided, said driving device, which is used to selectively actuate a wiper mechanism or a closing mechanism, having a simple design and comprising a gear housing which is designed in accordance with a known construction for driving a wiper mechanism.

摘要： A liftgate component module mountable on a pivotal liftgate window provides a unitary mounting platform for a plurality of components including a window wiper drive motor and a window latch. A unitary bracket carries the wiper drive apparatus and the window latch apparatus. A handle, which may include an electrical switch, is also mounted on the window. The electrical connections between the handle switch and a controller carried on the window as part of the motor enables instantaneous response of the latch to activation of the handle switch. The same controller can also control a liftgate latch and a liftgate electrical switch handle.

摘要： A dual motor windshield wiper system and windshield washer system integrated together into a single assembly. The system includes two motors (22, 22′), a control circuit (12), a fluid reservoir (120), a pump (112), and at least one mounting member (108, 108′) that supports said motors. The reservoir can be located between the two motors and can be supported in place by the motors. The motors can be thermally coupled to the reservoir so that fluid within the reservoir acts as a heat sink for the motors. The positions of the wipers can be controlled to follow targeted positions that are determined in accordance with acceleration, velocity, and deceleration values that are calculated using a wiper speed setting selected by the vehicle driver.
