摘要： A windshield wiper system and a vehicle having the same, where the windshield wiper system has a wiper blade rotating about a first pivot. The wiper blade includes an inner blade portion hinged to an outer blade portion. A flexible wiper is supported by the inner and outer blade portions. A deflector is formed on the outer blade portion. A control bar rotates about a second pivot that is spaced apart from the first pivot. The control bar has an actuator for engaging with the deflector. The actuator is capable of translating relative to the deflector in order for the actuator to selectively apply a force to the deflector during rotation of the wiper blade and control bar. The application of the force causes a torque about the hinge between the inner and outer blade portions. The torque allows the outer blade portion to follow the contour of a windshield.

摘要： A thermally-conductive member (60) is provided between a housing (53) and a FET module (54f) constituting a controller (54b), and used to release heat of the FET module (54f) to the housing (53). Therefore, heat of the FET module (54f) can be dissipated to outside via the thermally-conductive member (60) and the housing (53). Since the housing (53) is made of aluminum, a surface area of the housing (53) can be increased to become larger than the conventional cooling fin member, and heat of the FET module (54f) can be dissipated to outside, the DR-side wiper motor (21) can be reduced in size and improved in cooling efficiency. Furthermore, since a cooling fin member is not inserted in the case cover (54) in a conventional manner. Therefore, the case cover (54) can be molded with ease, and the wiper motor can be improved in assembly workability.

摘要： A system for a vehicle may include a motor assembly, a wiper and a switch. The motor assembly may be mounted to a spare tire carrier on a tailgate of the vehicle and may include an output shaft that is rotatable relative to the spare tire carrier. The wiper may be attached to the output shaft for rotation with the output shaft relative to a rear window pane of the vehicle. The switch may be electrically connected to the motor assembly and may be operable to allow electrical current to reach the motor assembly when the wiper is in contact with the rear window pane. The switch may be operable to prevent electrical current from reaching the motor assembly in response to the wiper and the rear window pane being spaced apart from each other.

摘要： A liftgate component module mountable on a pivotal liftgate window provides a unitary mounting platform for a plurality of components including a window wiper drive motor and a window latch. A unitary bracket carries the wiper drive apparatus and the window latch apparatus. A handle, which may include an electrical switch, is also mounted on the window. The electrical connections between the handle switch and a controller carried on the window as part of the motor enables instantaneous response of the latch to activation of the handle switch. The same controller can also control a liftgate latch and a liftgate electrical switch handle.

In a preferred embodiment, the motorcycle windshield wiper drive assembly further includes a variable speed control mechanism for allowing the user to adjust the speed of the wiper movement as desired.
