摘要： A retention arrangement for releasably securing a closure against a fixed body is provided. The retention arrangement includes a housing defining a mouth configured to receive a striker and defining a longitudinal axis, and at least one retention element configured to selectively retain the striker within the mouth, and movable between an open position and a closed position. The retention element is resiliently biased towards the closed position. The retention element is configured to open upon displacement due to the striker along the longitudinal axis in a first direction, and to close upon complete insertion of the striker within the mouth. The retention element is configured for rotation about at least two non-parallel axes so as to direct the striker towards the mouth.

摘要： An electric strike assembly includes a housing formed with a recessed portion, a keeper pivotally arranged in the recessed portion of the housing, the keeper having an abutment, an actuator assembly having an actuator and an actuator paddle, and a blocking element rotatably mounted in the recessed portion of the housing, wherein cooperation of the actuator paddle with the blocking element is controlled by rotation of the actuator and determines a locking condition of the keeper based on a rotational position of the blocking element with respect to the abutment. In accordance with other aspects of the present disclosure, a locking system includes a door assembly having a latch, a door frame for mounting the door assembly, and an electric strike assembly mounted in the door frame. A method of controlling access through a door includes providing an electric strike assembly in accordance with aspects of the present disclosure.

摘要： An anti-theft system for securing a removable battery to a power tool. The system employs a tamper-proof retainer to ensure that the retail display of a combined power tool and its associated battery can be displayed as a single unit without fear of theft of the battery. This may be achieved by the tamper-proof retainer securing a battery release latch against its release position hence securing the battery to the tool in a manner preventing the removal of the battery by a potential thief. The tamper-proof retainer either prevents removal of the battery from the power tool, as removal of the tamper-proof retainer is impossible, or, if it is destroyed by a thief, then it permanently secures the battery to the power tool.

The aforementioned holding is released and forward rotation of the catcher is started when the striker is caught by the catcher in the standby position by forward movement of a movable body, and this forward movement is assisted by the aforementioned urging from mid-course of this forward movement.

摘要： An actuator-controlled strike comprising a housing disposable within a doorframe and including a cavity for a spring latch and a dead latch of a mortise-type lockset. A keeper is pivotably mounted within the chamber to engage the spring latch. A pivotably mounted kicker cooperates with the keeper. A pivotably mounted dead latch release is supported by the keeper when the spring latch is within the strike. The keeper is released by the actuator and rotates into a position to ramp the spring latch out of the strike, also allowing the dead latch release to release the dead latch into the cavity, allowing the spring latch to be ramped out of the strike. Pivoting the keeper causes the kicker to urge the spring latch onto an exit ramp on a face of the keeper. The dead latch release can be installed in a plurality of different locations in the housing.
