摘要: A windshield wiper includes a support structure, a scrubbing wiper assembly, and a motor. The scrubbing wiper assembly is slidably attached to the support structure and has a central longitudinal axis extending in the elongate direction between a first end and a spaced apart second end. The scrubbing wiper assembly includes a slider element and a wiper blade rigidly secured to the slider element. The motor is mounted to the support structure and is engaged with the slider element to reciprocally move the scrubbing wiper blade along the central longitudinal axis. The reciprocation can impart a linear torque to the slider element. Methods of cleaning and polishing a windshield using a windshield wiper are also included.

摘要: A surface wiper device which includes a carrier which supports a blade. The carrier attaches to a wiper arm which urges the blade against and moves the blade across the surface of a windshield. The carrier further provides a plurality of outlets each of which communicate between a hollow passage inside the carrier and a location on the external surface of the carrier. A fluid can be delivered from a fluid source fluidicly coupled to the hollow passage of the carrier under sufficient pressure to be dispersed from the plurality of outlets onto the windshield during movement of the blade. A fluid heater can be thermally coupled with the fluid delivered from the fluid source to the plurality of outlets to increase the temperature of the fluid dispersed onto the windshield. The fluid can be sufficiently heated to generate a heated gas.

摘要: The invention relates to an adapter for a wiper blade mounting, the adapter comprising a cover which can be releasably attached to a main bar of the mounting by a single rotational movement that allows form-closure engagement between the cover and the main bar. According to the invention, the cover comprises an angular indexing system for defining an axis of rotation of the cover, the angular indexing system cooperating with an opening in the main bar. The opening and the angular indexing system have an asymmetrical form in order to allow angular indexing of the cover relative to the main bar and, subsequently, mechanical coupling of the cover on the main bar. The invention is applicable to motor vehicles.

The pair of secondary frame, each have a central pivot connection portion and two leg portions extending from the central pivot connection portion, a pivot structure disposed on the central pivot connection portion of the secondary frames wherein the pivot structure of the secondary frames are connected to the connection structures on the ends of the primary frame. A wiper blade is also presented having a wiper strip, a force distribution structure having opposite ends, and a cover.

A connector assembly of the wiper blade is detachably joined to a lever assembly and is detachably connected to wiper arms having first to sixth coupling units at a distal end respectively. An adaptor of the connector assembly is rotatably attached to the lever assembly. A slide cover of the connector assembly is slidably joined to the adaptor. A side lock cover of the connector assembly is detachably joined to the adaptor. The slide cover is moved to the adaptor in a first movement direction parallel to a longitudinal direction of the lever assembly to cover top contact surfaces of the first to third coupling units. The adaptor is fitted to the fourth coupling unit. The adaptor is connected to the fifth and sixth coupling units by a side pin passing through the side lock cover.
