    摘要: Cast polyurethane parts for shoes or other items may be formed in an automated fashion. A dispensing mechanism may dispense a predetermined amount of a liquid phase polyurethane mixture onto a flat surface face of a mold. A dispersal mechanism may distribute the liquid phase polyurethane mixture over the flat surface face of the mold to fill at least one cavity in the form. A vacuum may be applied to remove air bubbles from the liquid phase polyurethane mixture. Excess liquid phase polyurethane mixture may be removed from the flat surface face of the mold using a flexible blade that contacts and moves across the flat surface face. One or more conveyance mechanism may transport molds through the desired stages of a system and/or method in accordance with the present invention.

    摘要: A rotation table transfers a casting mold M injected with a plastic composition in a circular manner. An active-energy-ray irradiating area is provided to irradiate active energy rays onto the casting mold M in a predetermined angular range when the casting mold M is loaded on the rotation table and the rotation table is rotated once. A servo motor drives the rotation axis of the rotation table. A controller controls the servo motor such that the active energy rays from an ultraviolet lamp are irradiated onto the casting mold M in the active-energy-ray irradiating area for a required time. When the rotation table is intermittently rotated by 60° degrees in a counterclockwise direction, the casting mold M supplied from a supplying/removing area is irradiated by the ultraviolet rays in the active-energy-ray irradiating area, gradually cooled in the cooling area, and returned to the supplying/removing area again and is removed.

    摘要: A system and method of mass-producing a bait station of wax matrix material for pesticide or insecticide delivery is disclosed. The apparatus and method includes a water-heated vat 110 which supplies liquid wax matrix material to molds which may be of various forms in accordance with the desired bait station to be manufactured. A fluid pump 120 pumps the wax matrix material from the vat through a tube 130 into molding tubes 140. At a molding tube station 140 the molds are filled and then carried by a conveyer belt 100 to a cooling tunnel 160. The wax-containing molds may be shaken by an in-line shaker in order to reduce air bubbles in the wax matrix. After the wax-containing molds are cooled by the cooling tunnel 160 the conveyer carries them to a labeling station 170, after which the finished bait stations are removed from their molds and packaged.

    摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide a casting method for forming a resin molding which is able to cast the resin molding according to an assembly line production system while completely eliminating variations in quality between products. In the casting method according to the present invention, a plurality of metal molds are circulated at a given time difference in the order of a step of casting a hardenable resin composition into a preheated metal mold, a step of heating and hardening the casted resin composition, and a step of releasing the hardened product from the metal mold and assembling the metal mold. There are provided a plurality of heating devices and, while one metal mold in the hardening step is being heated by one of the heating devices, the other metal mold is heated at the above given time difference by the other of the heating devices.

    摘要: An improved, automated method and apparatus for molding contact lenses generally comprises the steps of: (1) forming anterior and posterior mold cavities in longitudinally spaced relation in first and second webs of material, respectively; (2) dispensing a liquid, curable, lens material (e.g., monomer) in each anterior cavity of the first web; (3) aligning and bringing the posterior and anterior cavities into sequential, mating, centered engagement with each other; (4) curing the lens material captured between respective posterior and anterior molds; and (5) separating the webs to release the lenses cast therebetween. In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the mold cavities are vacuum-formed in the respective webs, and packaging receptacles are formed in one or both of the webs used to mold the lenses.
