摘要: Injection-compression molding apparatus and methods to form a lens in a mold insert by an injecting a polymer into an internal cavity of the mold insert until a pressure of the internal cavity exceeds a predetermined force value, the first mold side being fixed and the second mold side being moveable and configured to apply a force generating the internal cavity pressure. The method includes controlling a first temperature of the first mold side to be in a range of 4 degrees Fahrenheit to 10 degrees Fahrenheit greater than a second temperature of the second mold side and controlling a coining compression distance of the second mold side to be in a range of 0.008 inches to 0.018 inches.

摘要: A process for producing a polymeric stiffened sheet-like component, for example a panel, for aircraft construction. Production includes integration of hollow stiffening profiles, for example closed omega stringers, onto a sheet-like component, for example an external skin, where the stringers and external skin are produced from thermoplastic composite material. The stringers are integrated onto the external skin by establishing contact between the stringers and the external skin and melting thermoplastic composite material with exposure to heat and pressure at the areas of contact between external skin and stringers. Melting of the other sections of the stringers is avoided with a pressurized cooling fluid with a temperature significantly below the melting point of thermoplastic composite material, the fluid flowing through the airtight enclosed space in the stringers. Use of closed airtight thermoplastic omega stringers allows integration of the stringers onto the external skin in absence of any flexible tube within the stringers.

摘要: A heel cap manufacturing method includes the steps of: a) preparing a multilayer composite material; b) performing the first time of molding by thermal pressing to the multilayer composite material by a thermal pressing device to obtain a thermal pressed semi-product; c) taking out the thermal pressed semi-product from the thermal pressing device and fixing it to a heel cap mold; d) performing the second time of molding by cold pressing to the thermal pressed semi-product together with the heel cap mold in a cooling device to obtain a cooled semi-product; and e) demolding and rewarming the cooled semi-product to obtain a finished heel cap. The present invention uses the processing manner of molding twice by cold and thermal pressing to manufacture the structurally more complex heel cap, effectively lowering difficulty of the manufacturing process and raising production efficiency. A heel cap manufacturing equipment is also provided.

摘要: A molding die and a molding method are provided, which allow high-cycle manufacturing of molded bodies of a thermoplastic resin or thermoplastic resin-fiber composite material, thereby improving productivity. Molding is performed using a molding die including a plurality of die portions that form a cavity in which a molded body is molded, the molding die including: a first temperature adjusting unit disposed in the vicinity of the cavity surface and capable of at least cooling the cavity surface; and a second temperature adjusting unit disposed on a side of the first temperature adjusting unit opposite from the cavity surface and capable of at least heating the cavity surface, wherein a distance L0 from the cavity surface to the first temperature adjusting unit and a distance L1 from the cavity surface to a surface of the corresponding die portion opposite from the cavity surface satisfy the relationship: (L1/L0)>3.
