摘要: A method of producing lipid-based micro/nano bubbles includes steps of (a) preparing a lipid mixture including one or more first lipids with different phase transition temperature, and a second lipid bonding with a hydrophilic polymer moiety or molecules capable of getting across a lipid membrane and decreasing van der Waals forces between lipid bilayers; (b) emulsifying the lipid mixture with a solvent, to form a transparent lipid carrier solution; (c) placing the transparent lipid carrier solution in a closed vessel with halo-substituted hydrocarbon; (d) manipulating temperature of the transparent lipid carrier solution to be close to a main phase transition temperature thereof; and (e) agitating in a mechanical manner the vessel containing the transparent lipid carrier solution to form micro/nano bubbles within the closed vessel. This method contributes to form micro/nano bubbles with desired diameters in a way of optimal material utilization efficiency.

摘要: A portable preparation assembly to prepare liquid cosmetic/cleanser products in a personalised way has a container which is configured to contain a solvent liquid and includes a base wall, a lateral wall and an upper opening opposite to the base wall; a housing seat configured to house a solid cosmetic/cleanser and arranged at least partially inside the container; and a stirring device which is configured to stir the solvent liquid in the container so as to determine at least partial dissolution of the solid cosmetic/cleanser in the solvent liquid and mix the dissolved solid cosmetic/cleanser with the solvent liquid to obtain the liquid cosmetic/cleanser product.

摘要: Acoustofluidic systems including acoustic wave generators for manipulating fluids, droplets, and micro/nano objects within a fluid suspension and related methods are disclosed herein. According to an aspect, an acoustofluidic system includes a substrate including a substrate surface. The system also includes an acoustic wave generator configured to generate acoustic streaming within an acoustic wave region of the substrate surface. Further, the acoustic wave generator is controllable to change the acoustic streaming for movement of a droplet or other micro/nano object on a fluid suspension about the acoustic wave region.

摘要: The current invention relates to the device and method to separate biological entities from a sample fluid by a microfluidic device. The claimed methods separate biological entities by differentiating the sizes of the biological entities with ultrasound modes. The claimed methods further utilize a multi-staged design that removes smaller size entities at earlier and wider sections and concentrates larger entities at later and narrower sections of a microfluidic channel.

摘要: The system for making suspensions includes a housing, with a platform mounted therein and a translating table slidably mounted on the platform for removably supporting a receptacle. A base fluid tank stores a base fluid, and a solid particle container stores solid particles. A rotating dispenser system is mounted within the housing, above the platform and the receptacle. The rotating dispenser includes a base fluid dispenser for dispensing a controlled mass of the base fluid into the receptacle, and a solid particle dispenser for dispensing a controlled mass of the solid particles into the receptacle. The base fluid dispenser is in communication with the base fluid tank, and the solid particle dispenser is in communication with the solid particle container. A mixer selectively and controllably mixes the controlled mass of the base fluid and the controlled mass of the solid particles in the receptacle to form the suspension.
