摘要: A copper/molybdenum separation processor is provide featuring a slurry/media mixture stage configured to receive a conditioned pulp containing hydrophobic molybdenite and hydrophilic copper, iron and other minerals that is conditioned with sodium hydrosulfide together with an engineered polymeric hydrophobic media, and provide a slurry/media mixture; and a slurry/media separation stage configured to receive the slurry/media mixture, and provide a slurry product having a copper concentrate and a polymerized hydrophobic media product having a molybdenum concentrate that are separately directed for further processing. The slurry/media mixture stage include a molybdenum loading stage configured to contact the conditioned pulp with the engineered polymeric hydrophobic media in an agitated reaction chamber, and load the hydrophobic molybdenite on the engineered polymeric hydrophobic media.

摘要: A suspending release device for observing a drop vibration attitude change of a lander and a test method are provided. The device includes a bench system, a lifting system fixed to the bench system, a horizontal frame system, an attitude control system, and a suspending release system hinged to the attitude control system. The horizontal frame system may slide vertically on the bench system and may drive the attitude control system to slide horizontally. A test lander is fixed to a release sliding block. The release sliding block is locked with a main load bearing block. An attitude of the test lander when releasing is adjusted. The horizontal frame system is lifted to a predetermined height. Guide rods are indirectly driven to release the sliding block by a motor. The whole lander falls freely and touches the ground to collide, and the process is recorded by a high-speed camera.

摘要: A method of performing acoustically enhanced sedimentation in a sample of a suspension comprising particles and a fluid is provided. The method comprises the steps of: i. introducing a volume of the sample into an accumulation zone of a microfluidic cavity; ii performing the substeps of: a. during a first time period: subjecting the volume to an acoustic standing wave configured to cause the particles in the volume to accumulate in at least a first region of the volume; b. during a second time period: subjecting the volume to a gravitational field affecting the particles and the fluid so that the particles accumulated in the at least one first region sediment in a first direction in relation to the direction of the gravitational field, thereby removing particles from the volume; and iii. moving the volume in a second direction opposite the first direction by introducing a subsequent volume of the sample into the accumulation zone of the microfluidic cavity. An acoustofluidic system is also provided.

The frame may include a plurality of contact points extending upward from a top surface, and at least one smooth perforated screening surface is affixed to the plurality of contact points on the frame. In some cases, the smooth surface comprises a perforated region and an erosion resistant region. Also, the perforations may have a shape that includes one or more corners. The smooth surface may be a perforated metal foil, sheet metal, and the like. Perforations may be apertures having one or more opening area sizes across the span of the screen assembly.

摘要: Method and apparatus to facilitate recycling of at least one fraction of bitumen-containing materials. This can be accomplished by dissolving the at least one fraction, for example, maltenes or asphaltenes in roofing shingles, into at least one solvent. In one aspect, the apparatus comprises a dissolution vessel, a tumbler positioned therein, and at least one solvent distributor. The tumbler is configured to facilitate wetting the bitumen-containing materials with solvent. In a second aspect, a system comprises the apparatus, a solid-liquid separator, for example, a vibratory screen, and at least one solvent-fraction separator, for example, a flash drum. The at least one solvent can comprise one or more solvents useful to extract the at least one fraction. In a third aspect, a first fraction is extracted from the bitumen-containing materials with a first solvent composition, then a second fraction is extracted from the remaining bitumen-containing materials with a second solvent composition.

The cleaning includes processing the used invert emulsion drilling fluid in a separator to remove at least some of the drilled cuttings therefrom.
