Abstract:
Provided herein are compositions, systems, and methods for treating plants, soil, fungal, and/or pathogens. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to compositions having one or more microbial metabolites from a microbial cell bath mixture for the treatment of harmful plant, agriculture, and/or soil pathogens, and also relates to methods of making and using the compositions.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are compositions including a dispersion of solid particles of a substantially insoluble copper compound, and an organic biocide, wherein at least 20% of all particles of the composition have a particle size greater than 25 microns. Also disclosed herein are methods of making and using the same.
Abstract:
An improved composition for inducing bone growth is provided that is a mixture of DBM and a perfluorocarbon oxygen carrier. Injection/implantation of a composition of DBM and a perfluorocarbon results in enhancement of bone formation.
Abstract:
A potato treatment composition and method assists in the suberization process. In accord with the preferred embodiment, a potato treatment composition incorporates organic material, which may be derived from organic waste or residue, preferably from oilseed hulls and most preferably from ground or powdered oilseed sunflower seed hulls, into powder compositions. In addition to the organic material, metal stearates such as calcium stearate and zinc stearate may also be incorporated for substantial additional fugitive dust reduction.
Abstract:
Compositions and methods for preventing or controlling bacteria, viruses and parasitic growths that cause diarrhea, pneumonia and septicemia in animals comprising a biocidal system comprised of a primary biocide and a pH buffer component; a cationic or ionic surfactant having an HLB of from about 5 to about 30; a thickening agent; and an aqueous based carrier.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are germicidal compositions and methods of using the germicidal compositions for disinfection and sterilization. In one aspect, a germicidal composition includes a germicidal dialdehyde and an efficacy enhancing halide salt to enhance the efficacy of the dialdehyde. One such composition may include water, phthalaldehyde, and an alkali metal halide salt to enhance the efficacy of the phthalaldehyde. In another aspect, a germicidal composition may include a carbonated germicidal solution containing dissolved phthalaldehyde. A method of forming the carbonated solution may include introducing carbon dioxide into the composition.
Abstract:
One can impart outstanding resistance against collapse under pressure to gas-filled microvesicle used as contrast agents in ultrasonic echography by using as fillers gases whose solubility in water, expressed in liter of gas by liter of water under standard conditions, divided by the square root of the molecular weight does not exceed 0.003.

Abstract:
A method of feeding pure water under germ-free conditions is provided by purifying raw water into primary water by successive passage through a defined series of purification units, temporarily storing the primary water in a primary water tank, further purifying the stored water to still higher purity by passage through a defined series of purification units; injecting HF or a salt of HF into the thus-purified water in bacteriostatic and sterilizing concentrations and then feeding it to its point of use.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to pharmaceutical products containing a mixture of benzoic acid, phenol and an alkali fluoride, in an aqueous or aqueous-alcohol solution, optionally in the presence of other usual additives for pharmaceutical preparations, in liquid or semi-liquid form, for the control of diseases in the human caused by herpes virus, and to methods for the topical treatment with these products of herpes simplex efflorescences in the human.
