摘要: A pesticidal mixture of an oil and an aliphatic acid is provided. In mixture, the aliphatic acid and oil are each effective to reduce the mixture's melting point (or viscosity transition point) to below the oil's and acid's melting points (or viscosity transition points). The mixture can be eutectic, such that the melting point of the mixture is less than both the oil melting point and the acid melting point. The oil can be a fatty acid ester, such as a wax ester. The aliphatic acid can be a fatty acid. Pesticidal mixtures comprising various natural pesticidal oils are disclosed, including neem oil, palm oil, coconut oil, and karanja oil.

摘要: A Bacillus altitudinis ST15 antagonizing Xanthomonas oryzae and use thereof, the Bacillus altitudinis ST15 was deposited in China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center on Jun. 28, 2020 and has the deposit number of CGMCC No. 20156. The Bacillus altitudinis has a relatively high antagonistic activity to Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae and Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzicola, can promote growth of rice and improve a drought resistance of a rice seedling, and has a relatively strong tolerance to common chemical microbicides for controlling bacterial diseases of rice. A bacterial suspension or a biocontrol inoculant prepared from this strain has a relatively high biocontrol effect on bacterial blight of rice and bacterial leaf streak of rice, can replace or reduce chemical pesticides, improves safety of food and ecological environment, and has relatively high economic and social benefits.

摘要: Processes for increasing a viricidal activity of a fiber substrate. The fiber substrate is provided. The fiber substrate may comprise acidic functional groups and may be acid leached to provide additional acidic groups. Metal ions may thereafter be exchanged with a proton from the acidic functional groups. A divalent metal is introduced to the fiber substrate. An antiviral metal is introduced and deposited onto the fiber substrate by galvanic displacement. Subsequently, a further antiviral metal is introduced and deposited on the fiber substrate by an electroless process. The treated fiber substrate is washed and dried. The deposition of antiviral metals onto the fiber substrate to form a treated fiber substrate may occur before or after the fiber substrate is incorporated into a filter media in a wet-laid paper making process.
