A tool magazine for a machine tool includes a link chain from chain links for the tool transport.

A tool carrier for an automatic tool changer according to the present disclosure includes: a base plate at which a center shaft is installed; a carrier unit installed at the center shaft to turn around the center shaft; a rotating pocket unit installed at the carrier unit to rotate and having a pin installed to protrude outward; a first cam block installed at the base plate and configured to perform a cam action with the pin to allow the pocket unit to rotate when the carrier unit turns from an initial position to the target position; and a second cam block installed at the base plate and configured to perform a cam action with the pin to allow the pocket unit to rotate when the carrier unit turns from the target position to the initial position.

    摘要： A machining center is provided with a cutter depot structure comprising a cutter socket, a cutter disk, and a round machine frame. The cutter socket is rotatably mounted on the periphery of the cutter disk by a retaining pin which is put through an L-shaped rod of the cutter socket. The L-shaped rod is provided with a roller. The cutter disk is provided with an annular stop surface. The round machine frame is provided with a wearproof annular pad having a cut. The cutter socket in motion is confined by the stop surface of the cutter disk and the annular pad of the machine frame such that the cutter socket is kept in the horizontal state. The cutter socket is turned on the retaining pin to facilitate the inverting of the cutter, thereby resulting in reduction in length of a cutter exchanging arm.

    摘要： A tool transfer device for machine tools that can reduce the tool transfer time and also reduce the cost of the device by eliminating the need for a driving source. The tool transfer device for machine tools has a tool magazine set beside a spindle on which a tool is mounted. The tool magazine serves for accommodating and holding therein a multiplicity of tools so that the tools are directed perpendicular to an axis of the spindle. A transfer pot is set on a spindle side of the tool magazine and is driven and moved by a horizontal moving unit and a vertical moving unit. This allows a next-process tool accommodated in the tool magazine to be taken out and transferred horizontally to a stroke end position by the transfer pot, and the next-process tool is then tilted at the stroke end position to a tool changing position in which the next-process tool is parallel to the axis of the spindle. The tool transfer device comprises a tool tilting mechanism including a tilted cam member and a tilting cam member for tilting the next-process tool to the tool changing position by horizontal movement of the horizontal moving unit to the stroke end position. The method of operating the tool transfer device is also presented.
