Abstract: A structure for mounting a cooling fan easily and conveniently and in the correct orientation only includes a chassis and at least one fan module. The chassis has a block, a first nut, and a second nut. The fan module has at least one accessory. The block is mounted on the first nut or the second nut. When the block is fixed on the first nut, the fan module can only be placed and installed so as to blow air into the chassis, and when the block is fixed on the second nut, the fan module can only be installed so as to extract air out of the chassis, thereby ensuring the correct mode of operation. An electronic device and a server using the structure is also disclosed.

Abstract: This application provides a composite cooling system. The composite cooling system includes an indoor air duct and an outdoor air duct that are independent of each other. The indoor air duct and the outdoor air duct intersect in a heat exchange area of the composite cooling system. A first-stage heat exchanger core, a second-stage heat exchanger core, and a first side air duct are disposed in the heat exchange area. The heat exchange area is constructed as a part of the outdoor air duct. The first-stage heat exchanger core, the first side air duct, and the second-stage heat exchanger core are sequentially arranged along a flow direction of the outdoor air duct. An inner cavity of the first-stage heat exchanger core and an inner cavity of the second-stage heat exchanger core each are further constructed as a part of the indoor air duct.

Abstract: A temperature regulating mount for portable electronic devices is provided that includes a temperature control unit for preventing portable electronic devices from reaching critical temperatures during operation to avoid undesired shut down of the electronic device. The mount is further accompanied by a protective perimeter casing for protecting the electronic device and allowing the device to mate with a universal mount. The perimeter casing leaves the back of the device open or exposed (e.g., through webbing) for temperature control. The protective perimeter casing includes grooves and indents for mating with guide rails and a movable clamping mechanism for securing the electronic device to the mount in a particular orientation to maximize the mount's ability to regulate the temperature of the electronic device.

Abstract: A multi-parameter patient monitoring device rack can dock a plurality of patient monitor modules and can communicate with a separate display unit. A signal processing unit can be incorporated into the device rack. A graphics processing unit can be attached to the display unit. The device rack and the graphic display unit can have improved heat dissipation and drip-proof features. The multi-parameter patient monitoring device rack can provide interchangeability and versatility to a multi-parameter patient monitoring system by allowing use of different display units and monitoring of different combinations of parameters. A dual-use patient monitor module can have its own display unit configured for displaying one or more parameters when used as a stand-alone device, and can be docked into the device rack when a handle on the module is folded down.

Abstract: A card connector that is removably fixable to a main body of a carrier system. For example, an outer flange of the card connector may be removably fixed (e.g., with fasteners, such as bolts) to the main body of the carrier system. A protrusion of the card connector may include a connector configured to electrically couple to the plugin card. The protrusion may extend into an interior of the main body when the card connector is removably fixed to the main body, such that the plugin card is disposed entirely within the main body. The card connector provides for a user to easily remove the card connector from the main body (e.g. by unfastening bolts and sliding the card connector out of the main body) and removably fix a new card connector to the main body. The new card connector may include different internal electronics or external porting than the original card connector.
