    摘要: A method for adjusting an audio zone sound image in an audio system (2, 6, 7) comprising a plurality of audio zones (2A, 2B, 6A, 6B, 6C, 6D, 7A, 7B, 7C) is disclosed. Each audio zone has one or more loudspeakers (20, 21, 60, 61, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 72, 73, 74, 75) located therein. The method comprises recording (101, 802) a sound image of a controlling audio zone; transmitting (102, 803) audio data corresponding to the recorded sound image to a controller; evaluating (103, 103a, 804) the transmitted audio data; selecting (104, 805) an adjusting audio zone, wherein the adjusting audio zone is other than the controlling audio zone; and adjusting (105, 105a, 105b, 807) an adjusting loudspeaker such that the sound image of the controlling audio zone is changed. An audio system (2, 6, 7) and a controlling loudspeaker are also disclosed.

    摘要: An audio matrix formed from absolute amplitude values of coefficients obtained by frequency-transforming an audio signal is generated. The audio matrix is factorized into a basis spectrum and activity matrices. Bases in the basis spectrum matrix are classified into bases concerning a target sound and bases concerning noise. Bases in the activity matrix are classified into bases concerning the target sound and bases concerning the noise. Bases concerning the target sound are obtained from the bases concerning the noise classified from the basis spectrum matrix. A matrix including frequency amplitude values of the target sound is obtained using the bases concerning the target sound classified from the basis spectrum matrix, the bases concerning the target sound and noise classified from the activity matrix, and the obtained bases. The audio signal of the target sound is generated using the matrix.

    摘要: The present disclosure is directed to devices, methods and systems for microphone arrays wherein enhancing performance of directional microphone arrays is provided. Enhanced performance of speaker phones is also provided. In certain embodiments, the housing of the device is configured to support the at least three microphones and the loudspeaker in a substantially first orientation; and the at least three microphones and the loudspeaker are arranged in a spatial relationship such that appropriate phase and delay characteristics achieve a substantial null response in the at least three microphones and in the loudspeaker in a substantial vertical direction away from the substantially first orientation over a desired audible range of frequencies and the device is able to provide a response to sounds over a range of first oriented elevations.

    摘要: Embodiments described herein involve configuring a playback device based on the detection of a barrier in proximity to the playback device. An example implementation may involve configuring the playback device for audio output in a given environment by calibrating the playback device to at least partially offset acoustic effects of the given environment. After the playback device is configured for audio output, the playback device may detect a barrier within proximity of the playback device by detecting a change in the acoustic effects of the given environment. In response to detecting the barrier within proximity of the playback device, the playback device may adjust the calibration.
