摘要: The invention relates to a medical system for applying a medical procedure. The medical system (1) comprises a medical device (5) like a surgical robot with a surgical instrument (24) for performing the medical procedure, wherein the medical device is adapted to perform a movement, for instance, a movement of the surgical instrument, relative to a reference device like a patient table (9) for applying the medical procedure. The medical device is attached to a wall and/or a ceiling (3) of a room (2) by an attaching system (7) and rigidly attached to the reference device by a fixation element (8). Due to the attachment to the wall and/or the ceiling, the weight of the medical device does not need to be completely carried by, for instance, the patient table, wherein, due to the rigid attachment to the reference device, the medical procedure can still very accurately be performed.

摘要: A pressure sensing unit comprises a membrane and two permanent magnets inside the cavity. One magnet is coupled to the membrane, and at least one magnet is free to oscillate with a rotational movement. At least one magnet is free to oscillate with a rotational movement. The oscillation takes place at a resonance frequency, which is a function of the sensed pressure, which pressure influences the spacing between the two permanent magnets. This oscillation frequency can be sensed remotely by measuring a magnetic field altered by the oscillation. The pressure sensing unit may be provided on a catheter or guidewire.

摘要: A system for assisting a gum disease examination provides indication of an oral area to be examined during an examination of the gums of a subject under diagnosis. Historical examination data is used in respect of a set of subjects. Using this data, a first oral area to be examined is determined, and based on the historical examination data and the measurement for any previously examined oral areas during the examination, a next oral area to be examined is also determined. In this way, a sequence of oral areas to be examined is determined by the system, with the aim of making the examination as quick as possible, by obtaining a diagnosis after as few measurements as possible (when there is a positive diagnosis to be made).

摘要: An image processing apparatus comprises a receiver (201) for receiving an image signal comprising an encoded image. Another receiver (1701) receives a data signal from a display (107) where the data signal comprises a data field that comprises a display dynamic range indication of the display (107). The display dynamic range indication comprises at least one luminance specification for the display. A dynamic range processor (203) is arranged to generate an output image by applying a dynamic range transform to the encoded image in response to the display dynamic range indication. An output (205) outputs an output image signal comprising the output image to the display. The transform may furthermore be performed in response to a target display reference indicative of a dynamic range of display for which the encoded image is encoded. The invention may be used to generate an improved High Dynamic Range (HDR) image from e.g. a Low Dynamic Range (LDR) image, or vice versa.

摘要: There is provided a computer-implemented method comprising the steps of: receiving an arousal signal representative of an occurrence an arousal of a subject; receiving a heartrate signal representative of a heartrate of the subject; determining a recovery response phase signal in the heartrate signal; wherein the recovery response phase signal is representative of a recovery response phase in which the heartrate decreases after the arousal; determining a deviation of the recovery response phase signal relative to a reference signal. Further, there is provided an apparatus comprising a sensor system and a processing unit coupled to the sensor system. The sensor system is configured to provide a heartrate signal representative of a heartrate of a subject. The sensor system is configured to provide an arousal signal representative of an occurrence of an arousal of a subject. The processing unit is configured to perform the computer-implemented method.

摘要: A baby monitor system and method has a baby monitor unit which collects sounds of a baby to be monitored. The sounds collected are analyzed and crying sounds are identified and categorized into a set of different crying types. A first alert for a first carer receiver unit is generated for a first sub-set of crying types and a second alert is generated for a second carer receiver unit for a second, different, sub-set of crying types. Thus, two (or more) carers can be allocated care responsibility for the baby for different crying types, to provide a division of care.
