    摘要: A first playback device and a second playback device of a media playback system play back a first version of audio content in synchrony. While the first and the second playback devices are synchronously playing back the first version of the audio content, a change in at least one characteristic of the media playback system is detected. Based on the change in the at least one characteristic, a second version of the audio content is identified. The second playback device transitions from playing back the first version of the audio content to playing back the second version of the audio content in synchrony with playback of the first version of the audio content by the first playback device. The first and second versions of the audio content are transmitted by at least one remote computing device configured to communicate with the media playback system over at least one data network.

    摘要: Example techniques facilitate calibration of a playback device. An example implementation involves a computing device capturing, via a microphone, data representing multiple iterations of a calibration sound as played by a playback device. The computing device identifies multiple sections within the captured data. Two or more sections represent respective iterations of the calibration sound as played by the playback device. Based on the multiple identified sections, the computing device determines a frequency response of the playback device, the frequency response of the playback device representing audio output by the playback device and acoustic characteristics of an environment around the playback device. Based on the frequency response of the playback device and a target frequency response, the computing device determines one or more parameters of an audio processing algorithm and sends, to the playback device, the one or more parameters of the audio processing algorithm.

An example implementation may include detecting a trigger condition that initiates calibration of a media playback system including multiple audio drivers that form multiple sound axes, each sound axis corresponding to a respective channel of multi-channel audio content The implementation may also include causing the multiple audio drivers to emit calibration audio that is divided into constituent frames, the multiple sound axes emitting calibration audio during respective slots of each constituent frame. The implementation may further include recording the emitted calibration audio. The implementation may include causing delays for each sound axis of the multiple sound axes to be determined, the determined delay for each sound axis based on the slots of recorded calibration audio corresponding to the sound axes and causing the multiple sound axes to be calibrated.
