Abstract: A transmitter is provided. The transmitter includes: an outer encoder configured to encode input bits to generate outer-encoded bits including the input bits and parity bits; a zero padder configured to constitute Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) information bits including the outer-encoded bits and zero bits; and an LDPC encoder configured to encode the LDPC information bits, wherein the LDPC information bits are divided into a plurality of bit groups, and wherein the zero padder pads zero bits to at least some of the plurality of bit groups, each of which is formed of a same number of bits, to constitute the LDPC information bits based on a predetermined shortening pattern which provides that the some of the plurality of bit groups are not sequentially disposed in the LDPC information bits.

Abstract: Proposed is a method and device for receiving a PPDU in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a receiving STA receives the PPDU from a transmitting STA through a broadband and decodes the PPDU. The PPDU includes an STF signal. The STF signal is generated on the basis of a first STF sequence for the broadband. The first STF sequence is obtained on the basis of a first preamble puncturing pattern of the broadband. When the broadband is a 320 MHz band, the first preamble puncturing pattern includes a pattern in which a 40 MHz or 80 MHz band is punctured in the broadband. The first STF sequence is a sequence including an M sequence and is defined as {M 1 −M 0 −M 1 −M 0 M 1 −M 0 −M 1 −M 0 −M −1 M 0 M −1 M 0 −M −1 M 0 M −1 M}*(1+j)/sqrt(2).

Abstract: BSS (basic service set) sharing is enabled on the Wi-Fi 7 access point, wherein the Wi-Fi 7 access point is wirelessly connected to a plurality of stations over the common wireless channel. A puncturing pattern is determined to share spectrum of the common wireless channel between the multiple BSSs. All shared BSSs are advertised in beacons with an EHT field comprising the puncturing pattern and broadcast over the common wireless channel. At least two stations of the plurality of stations are connected over at least two different BSSs of the multiple BSSs. Data frames are transmitted simultaneously to the at least two stations across the at least two different BSSs. A first BSS occupies a first portion of a spectrum and a second BSS occupies a second portion of the spectrum, according to the puncturing pattern.

Abstract: A method and a device for transmitting data in a wireless LAN system are presented. Particularly, a transmission STA transmits information about a preamble puncturing pattern to a reception STA. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Some wireless communications network may operate in accordance with an open-RAN (ORAN) network specification which may support functional splitting between the ORAN distributed unit (O-DU) and the ORAN radio unit (RU). The O-DU may communicate with the O-RU using control messaging. The control message may include a resource resource element (RE) mask and a resource symbol mask, the resource RE mask indicating frequency resources to be allocated for a reference signal transmission across a set of antenna ports and the resource symbol mask indicating time resources to be allocated for the reference signal transmission. Additionally or alternatively, the O-DU may transmit a control message including a puncturing resource RE mask indicating frequency resources for applying a puncturing pattern and a symbol mask indicating time resources for applying the puncturing pattern during a transmission.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to methods and apparatus for decoding low-density parity check (LDPC) codes, for example, using a parity check matrix having full row-orthogonality. An exemplary method for performing low-density parity-check (LDPC) decoding includes receiving soft bits associated to an LDPC codeword and performing LDPC decoding of the soft bits using a parity check matrix, wherein each row of the parity check matrix corresponds to a lifted parity check of a lifted LDPC code, at least two columns of the parity check matrix correspond to punctured variable nodes of the lifted LDPC code, and the parity check matrix has row orthogonality between each pair of consecutive rows that are below a row to which the at least two punctured variable nodes are both connected.

Abstract: A convolutional code rate matching method and a communication apparatus are provided. A puncturing pattern of a second codeword at a second code rate is obtained based on a puncturing pattern of a first codeword at a first code rate. A second puncturing location set of the second codeword is a subset of a first puncturing location set of the first codeword. When a transmit device decreases a code rate from the first code rate to the second code rate, a redundant bit is sent at a location of a complementary set of the second puncturing location set relative to the first puncturing location set. Compared with the first puncturing location set, the second puncturing location set may obtain more incremental redundant bits, to decrease a channel encoding rate. This can improve decoding performance of a convolutional code.
