摘要: An electronic safety actuator (1) for an elevator safety brake, includes a first solenoid (2), a magnet (3), movable by the first solenoid (2) between a first position proximate to the first solenoid (2) and a second position distal from the first solenoid (2) a second solenoid (6) and a detector (8). The detector (8) is arranged to apply an electrical signal to one of the first solenoid (2) and the second solenoid (6), and to detect an electrical signal induced in the other of the first solenoid (2) and the second solenoid (6) as a result of the applied electrical signal. There is also provided a method of detecting a condition or state of the first solenoid (2) or the magnet (3).

摘要: An electromagnetic lifting armature actuator, in particular for valves, comprises an armature rod which can be shifted in the direction of its longitudinal axis, and a magnetic yoke comprising a first yoke leg and a second yoke leg which is coaxial to the armature rod. A first magnet coil encloses the first yoke leg and a second magnet coil encloses both the second yoke leg and the armature rod. One of the magnet coils is a working and measuring coil which can be selectively used for enhancing the magnetic force or for determining a position of the movable armature rod.

摘要: A displacement detecting apparatus of an electromagnetic actuator, including: an electromagnetic actuator including: a movable core; a drive coil which causes a displacement of the movable core; and a detection coil disposed at a position where a mutual coupling coefficient with the drive coil changes with the displacement, the actuator transmitting a drive force of the movable core to a mechanical system; a drive portion for supplying a drive current to the drive coil on the basis of a pulse width modulation signal; and a displacement detecting portion to which an output voltage of the detection coil is inputted, for outputting a displacement detection signal, wherein the displacement detecting portion includes: a sampling-signal generating portion for generating a sampling signal in synchronism with the pulse width modulation signal; and a synchronous sampling portion for outputting the displacement detection signal by sampling the output voltage in synchronism with the sampling signal.

摘要: A lower cost valve results from the use of a single machined part for a valve housing. The housing is made of a non-magnetic material which can be less expensive and eliminates the requirement for screens or filters in automotive applications. Providing a one-piece plunger and pilot valve with a high guiding length minimizes tilting of the pilot. Further, the one-piece housing allows for one common bore for guiding the plunger with the pilot and a poppet. The two ideal concentric surfaces make the poppet outer diameter concentric to the pilot hole. Finally, the use of an adjustable stroke valve eliminates the need for a separate needle valve, providing further cost savings.

摘要: A valve apparatus for controlling a pressured fluid, in which the shut-off device is force closed by the pressured fluid which is admitted into a chamber via a throttle bore. The valve is opened via a drive means, which acts directly on both a pilot valve and on the shut-off device, without the interposition of an actuating fluid. The drive means first opens a pilot valve, thereby allowing the pressured fluid to escape from the chamber and to the outlet. The drive means then opens the shut-off device. The reduction in pressure in the chamber enables a drive means of only moderate power to complete the second step of opening the shut-off device. The drive means acts directly on the shut-off device; thus the control action corresponds directly to the stroke displacement of the drive means at any particular moment.

摘要: An electronic pressure relief system for a traction slip control vehicle brake system maintains the pressure within the brake system at its desirable level by electronically controlling an isolation valve coupled to the brake conduit. The isolation valve is controlled by supplying an energizing current to the valve at a preselected level such that the holding pressure exerted by the valve is maintained at a level approximately equal to the maximum desired pressure level to be maintained within the brake conduit during the traction slip control maneuver.

摘要: A magnetic linear drive includes an elongated cylindrical armature which is supported for axial displacement in a guiding pipe made of a pressure-resistant material. Two axially spaced solenoid windings are mounted on the guiding pipe and are interconnected by a permanent magnet. The solenoid windings are provided with lateral magnetically conducting cores the ends of which communicate with annular grooves formed in the guiding tube. The grooves are filled with a magnetically conductive material forming the poles of the electromagnet. In the region of the poles, the armature is formed with control flanges of different depths which are acted upon by the magnetic flux to impart the axial movement to the armature. One end of the armature is formed with a measuring flange which cooperates with measuring coils mounted on the guiding pipe.

摘要: A solenoid servomechanism comprises an armature and coil means regulable by a command signal to effect a displacement of the armature. Feedback means monitoring the position of the armature relay a signal representative of armature position to the summing point of an operational amplifier where the armature position signal is compared with the command signal. The difference between the command signal and the position signal is amplified and placed in proper phase relationship to correct the difference. The resultant signal is then converted into one or more pulsating or switching mode signals which modulate the duty cycle of one or more power drivers whose outputs are applied to the coil means for correction of the armature position. In a two-coil, one-armature embodiment, the armature is electrically driven on command in either of two directions, the direction determined by the respective duty cycles imposed on power drivers for the two coils, such duty cycles dependent on the difference between the command signal and the position feedback means. In a single coil, one-armature embodiment, the single coil acts in response to a command signal to advance against a resilient load capable of returning the armature in an opposite direction upon relaxation of the command signal. In both of the foregoing embodiments, the command signal may be a signal of unknown value which is measured by the displacement of the armature. Alternatively, the command signal may be of a known or adjusted value whereby the armature may be displaced from a first position to a desired second position.
