Abstract: An interest determination system includes a data acquisition unit configured to acquire a first data group indicating a feature of each word contained in user's dialog information; a first learning unit configured to learn by using a first input and output values, the first input value being set to a data group that associates the first data group with a second data group indicating a feature of a predetermined word, the first output value being set to information indicating whether there is a user's interest; and a determination unit configured to, when a data group that associates a third data group indicating a feature of a word to be determined with the first data group has been input to the first learning unit, determine whether there is a user's interest in the word to be determined, based on an output value output from the first learning unit.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides system and method for executing SPARQL query on a SPARQL engine. For executing the SPARQL query, a function may be instantly integrated with the SPARQL query which leads to extension of the SPARQL query. The extension may be achieved through a user friendly interface which may allow transparent integration of code (i.e., the function) in any language such as JAVA, C, C++ and the like, supporting a particular functionality. The system may integrate the code by addition of newly added code to the SPARQL library after validation. Further, the system may analyze the functionality associated with the code to optimize decision making of a user. The system may further support auto compilation and rating of the functions based on the user feedback and re-usability of the code working in a collaborative environment. Further the system may enable also enable to integrate external tools and web services.

Abstract: Database report subscription technology, in which subscriptions are delivered to multiple, different recipients on a customized basis. In response to detection of an event that triggers generation and delivery of a database report, customized versions of the report are generated for the multiple, different recipients based on a definition of the data used to generate the report included in the subscription, report parameters that define presentation aspects of the report included in the subscription, and profile data associated with at least one of the multiple, different recipients. The customized versions of the report include at least a first version of the report and a second version of the report that differs from the first version of the report and the customized versions of the report are delivered to the multiple, different recipients.

Abstract: A system and method for investigating crimes occurring at locations that are communicatively connected by a central server is disclosed. The investigation is highly automated and obtains evidence using computer aided searches of historic surveillance data gathered at locations within a computer search area. The investigation also utilizes active searches of real-time surveillance data gathered at the locations in response to a be-on-the-look-out (BOLO) alert sent to the locations from the central server. Based on evidence obtained from these searches, the search area may be updated and the searches may be repeated to follow a moving crime pattern/route. In addition, the information provided from the searches may facilitate the prediction of a location that is likely to experience a crime in the future. Accordingly, the central server may transmit a high alert to the predicted location.
