    摘要: Various embodiments of methods and systems for estimating environmental ambient temperature of a portable computing device (“PCD”) from electrical resistance measurements taken voice coils in a speaker or microphone component are disclosed. In an exemplary embodiment, it may be recognized that the PCD is in an idle state, thus producing little or no thermal energy. Electrical resistance measurements are taken from a voice coil and used to estimate the environmental ambient temperature to which the PCD is exposed. Certain embodiments may simply render the estimated ambient temperature for the benefit of the user or use the estimated ambient temperature as an input to a program or application running on the PCD. It is envisioned that certain embodiments of the systems and methods may use the estimated ambient temperature to adjust temperature thresholds in the PCD against which thermal management policies govern thermally aggressive processing components.

    摘要: A series of implementations of open access sleeves for holding one or more closed containers of sterile fluid for use in medical procedures are disclosed. The open access sleeves may be adapted to provide heat to maintain the containers of sterile fluid above the ambient air temperature of the room. The provision of heat may be controlled by a control system. The control system may use a temperature measurement device to obtain a temperature representative of the container of sterile fluid and of the sterile fluid in the container. The access sleeve may be included in a device for maintaining an open volume of sterile fluid within a range of a target temperature to maintain the closed containers of sterile fluid at a temperature near target temperature for open volume of sterile fluid.

    摘要: A fan speed control circuit is provided. The circuit includes a sensor, a control chip, a first integrated circuit, an integrated operational amplifier, a second integrated circuit, and a feedback comparator. The sensor senses a temperature of an electronic component. The control chip outputs a PWM signal corresponding to the temperature to a fan. The first integrated circuit and the second integrated circuit respectively generate a first equivalent voltage and a second equivalent voltage. The integrated operational amplifier amplifies the first equivalent voltage to generate an upper limit voltage and reduces the first equivalent voltage to generate a lower limit voltage. The feedback comparator compares the second equivalent voltage with the upper limit voltage and the lower limit voltage to generate a comparison value. The control chip adjusts the duty cycle of the PWM signal according to the comparison value, and outputs the adjusted PWM signal to the fan.

The apparatus further includes external temperature sensors, where at least one of the external temperature sensors is configured to measure the temperature of the microprocessor. The microprocessor is configured to make an external temperature calibration using the reference temperature measured by the built-in temperature monitor. Each of the external temperature sensors is configured to monitor temperature information of a component and provide the temperature information to the microprocessor.
