摘要: A fluid flow control device includes a resilient substrate translatable between a first flattened position and a second extended position, and an actuator attached to the resilient substrate. The actuator is configured for translating the resilient substrate from the first flattened position to the second extended position. The actuator is formed from a shape memory alloy transitionable between a first state and a second state in response to a change in temperature of the shape memory alloy. 摘要: A tank container for bulk storage of liquid materials is provided with with remote operated valves. The tank container comprises a storage vessel for bulk storage of liquid materials and having a height of about eight feet. The storage vessel includes an outlet valve proximate a bottom of the vessel, a fill valve at a top of the vessel, and a vent valve at the top of the vessel. A parallelepiped frame surrounds and is secured to the storage vessel for stacking and transporting of the tank container. A fill line includes an outlet connected to the fill valve and extending downwardly within the frame and an inlet proximate the bottom of the frame. A fill valve actuator is mounted proximate the bottom of the storage vessel mechanically linked with the fill valve for operating the fill valve remote from the top of the storage vessel. A vent valve actuator is mounted proximate the bottom of the storage vessel mechanically linked with the vent valve for operating the vent valve remote from the top of the storage vessel.

摘要: A valve for use in a tank vessel that includes a valve housing configured to fit into a threaded vent opening of the tank vessel and a sleeve weldment coupled to the valve housing. The sleeve weldment includes a first end configured to protrude into an interior volume of the tank vessel, and the first end is thermally balanced with the interior volume of the tank vessel. The valve also includes a valve plunger configured to be installed within the sleeve weldment. The valve plunger includes a valve bottom configured to seal an opening between the valve bottom and an interior opening of the sleeve weldment. The valve also may include a cam configured to force the valve plunger into the interior of the tank vessel to break the seal between the valve bottom and the interior opening of the sleeve weldment.

摘要: A hands-free faucet control device includes a water valve assembly, a foot peddle assembly and a pull wire connected there between. A continuously-formed injection molded valve housing includes two cylindrically-shaped apertures disposed adjacent to one another where each has an inlet water port and an outlet water port. A valve is disposed in each of the apertures, where both valves are simultaneously movable between a closed position and an open position. A foot pedal assembly includes a foot peddle bracket and an attached foot pedal, where the foot pedal is movable between an up position and a down position. A pull wire is connected at a pull wire first end to the proximal end of the valve and connected at a pull wire second end to the foot pedal, wherein movement of the foot pedal to the down position by a user moves the valves to the open position.

摘要: The present invention discloses a valve opening/closing device for an intermediate bulk container. the container comprises a base, side plates, and a valve provided on the base. Wherein the valve opening/closing device comprises a handle, a motion-transferring device, and a valve opening/closing mechanism, wherein the handle is mounted on the side plate and connected to the motion-transferring device, and the motion-transferring device is used to transfer the force applied on the handle to the valve, so as to open or close the valve. For the valve opening/closing device of the present invention, the operating handle is provided at an appropriate position at the side plate of the container, thereby avoiding bending over or squatting on the ground, etc when opening or closing the valve, facilitating use. In addition, the operating moment can be adjusted through adjusting the transmission ratio of the motion-transferring device, which makes it easy to control the operating force.

An actuating assembly (24) interconnects the primary and secondary protective devices (20, 22) and has an actuating cable assembly (28) preferably including a cable (94) and a frangible component (86). In certain embodiments, an operator (28) for the secondary device (22) may be provided which includes an actuator (106) carried by the cable (94). Upon operation of the primary protective device (20), the cable (94) and frangible component (86) are tensioned and translated in a first direction. The component (86) then severs, which causes operation of the secondary protective device (22).
