    摘要: A self-locking clutch mechanism comprising a base, an output member journalled to the base, a first spring engaged between the base and the output member, the first spring exerting a first spring force in a first direction, a clutch spring engaged with an intermediate member and frictionally engaged with a base cylindrical surface, an input member rotationally engaged with the base, the input member intermittently engagable with the clutch spring through a control member such that the clutch spring is temporarily released from the base cylindrical surface upon a rotary movement of the control member in a first direction, the intermediate member rotates upon release of the clutch spring from the base cylindrical surface, and a second spring engaged between the intermediate member and the output member, the second spring exerting a second spring force opposite the first spring force.

    摘要: A space curve mesh driving pair and a polyhedral space curve mesh transmission are disclosed. Said space curve mesh driving pair consists of a driving wheel and a driven wheel. Axes of the driving wheel and the driven wheel are intersected at an angle of 0°˜180°, and power transmission is realized by continuous mesh between the driving tines and the driven tines; a number of driving tines are provided on said driving wheel, and a number of driven tines are provided on the driven wheel; the driving tines are uniformly arranged on an end face of a cylinder of the driving wheel, and the driven tines are uniformly arranged on the circumference of a cylindrical surface of the driven wheel. Said polyhedral space curve mesh transmission consists of an above-mentioned space curve mesh driving pair. Motion is input from an input end, and is passed through a number of pace curve mesh driving pairs to realize the speed change, then is output from one or more output ends. Wherein, the space curve mesh driving pair is the core of the transmission. The invention has the advantages of compact structure, small size, light weight, stable transmission and flexible operation, and can be widely used in micro-mechanism field.

    摘要: A gear assembly for a power transfer unit is disclosed. The gear assembly includes an input shaft, a drive ring gear assembly, a pair of input/ring bearings, a driven pinion gear assembly, a first and second clutch members, and an actuator assembly. The first clutch member is fixedly connected to the input shaft. The drive ring gear assembly is mounted about the input shaft. The input/ring bearings are mounted so as to straddle the drive ring gear. The driven pinion gear assembly is operatively engaged with the drive ring gear. The second clutch member is slidingly mounted to the drive ring gear and the actuator assembly operates to move the second clutch member into engagement with the first clutch member to cause the drive ring gear to rotate when the input shaft rotates.
