The slots are at least partially overlapping, and:



A) the slots are filled with a liquid, and the axial annular surfaces are closed off by means of a protective cap;
or:
B) at least one of the annular surfaces is provided with a viscoelastic material or hysteretic damping material sandwiched between two concentric discs, which discs are attached to the ring;
or:
C) the slots are filled with a viscoelastic material.

摘要： A helical gear transmission for an electromechanical power-assisted steering mechanism includes a shaft which meshes with a helical gear. The shaft is disposed in a housing and at the first end of said shaft in a drive-side bearing assembly is mounted to rotate about a rotation axis, and at the second end of said shaft in a drive-distal bearing assembly is mounted in the housing. The drive-side bearing assembly has a fixed bearing, and the fixed bearing is enclosed by two bearing shells. On each end side of the fixed bearing one spring element is disposed between the fixed bearing and the respective bearing shell. The spring elements asymmetrically pre-load the fixed bearing such that a pivot axis about which the shaft is pivotable in the direction of the helical gear is disposed in the region of the toothing plane of the shaft and the helical gear.

摘要： An intermediate bearing for a drive shaft train of a motor vehicle has an elastic bearing body which has a bore and a supporting ring which is arranged in the bore and has a receiving space for receiving an anti-friction bearing. The receiving space defines a longitudinal axis, and two sealing washers which are spaced apart axially from one another and have in each case one central opening for receiving a drive component. The supporting ring is arranged between the two sealing washers. The sealing washers have in each case one groove which extends concentrically with respect to the longitudinal axis. The supporting ring engages into the two grooves of the sealing washers.

The bearing assembly may include an outer bearing ring having a first outer diameter and defining an outer race and a radially outer surface. A radial extension may be coupled to the radially outer surface of the outer bearing ring to expand an outer diameter of the bearing assembly from the first outer diameter to a larger second outer diameter. The second outer diameter may be configured to correspond to a diameter of a housing cavity that is larger than the first diameter such that the bearing assembly can be coupled to the housing (e.g., press fit into the housing). The radial extension may be over-molded or press fit onto the outer bearing ring. The radial extension may be formed of a material less dense than the outer bearing ring, such as a polymer or elastomer.
