摘要: A method for operating a motor-adjustable steering column may be employed by a motor vehicle with an actuating unit supported by a supporting unit. A steering spindle may be rotatably supported in the actuating unit. The actuating unit may be adjustable relative to the supporting unit by means of at least one adjustment drive. The adjustment drive is controlled by a control unit, and the adjustment speed caused by the adjustment drive is determined based on measurement data of a sensor. The control unit controls the adjustment drive in a control loop based on a control deviation between a specifiable speed profile and the determined adjustment speed.

a steering shaft which is supported by the shroud, a pivot which connects a part of the lower part to a fixed part of the vehicle, a clamp mechanism which releasably fixes the upper and lower shroud parts in position relative to one another and which also fixes the shroud in position relative to a further fixed part of the vehicle, a mounting bracket, fixed relative to the vehicle, a sprung support assembly which includes at least one guide element that has an outer surface that engages a complimentary shaped guide track of the mounting bracket, characterised in that the sprung support assembly is fixed in position to the upper shroud part and bears upon the mounting bracket such that the sprung support assembly provides a reaction force that at least partially supports the shroud when the clamp mechanism is released.-

摘要: A method for releasing a tilt mechanism for a steering element of a vehicle, wherein the steering element is mounted pivotably around a tilt axis between a steering position and at least one non-steering position, wherein the steering element has at least one releasable locking arrangement, which fixes the steering element in the steering position and the at least one non-steering position. The locking arrangement can adopt at least one locking state in which the release of the locking arrangement is prevented and can adopt at least one release state in which the release of the locking arrangement is enabled. A corresponding steering arrangement and a corresponding vehicle are provided.

摘要: A tilt assembly (30) for a steering column assembly (10) including a pair of downwardly disposed plates each having a slot (36); an elongated member adapted to be rotated, wherein the elongated member penetrates the slot (36) of each downwardly disposed plate and extends therebetween; a rotational member (50) located within each slot (36) and having an opening through which the elongated member is received; a biasing member (60) with a first end (62) and a second end (68), where at least one end engages with the rotational member (50). The biasing member (60) is adapted to drive rotation of the rotational member (50). When the tilt assembly (30) is in an unlocked position, the rotational member (50) is adapted to travel with respect to the slot (36), and when the tilt assembly (30) is in a locked position, the rotational member (50) is adapted to rotate and engage with a wail that is fixed with respect to the slot (36). The elongated member, rotational member (50), and biasing member (60) may be configured to eliminate lash. A steering column assembly (10) incorporating the tilt assembly (30) is also contemplated.

摘要: The present embodiments provide a tilt fixing device for a vehicular steering column wherein no tooth-on-tooth phenomenon occurs between a stationary gear and a movable gear when the driver conducts a tilt locking operation; even if such a tooth-on-tooth phenomenon occurs, a first elastic member installed between the movable gear and a load support member enables tilt locking of the steering column; and, if an external impact is applied, the movable gear slides and meshes with the stationary gear by means of elastic force from the first elastic member such that there occurs a stable tilting operation of the steering column.

摘要: A dynamometer for automobile steering wheel position adjusting device which comprising: a rack box, a fixing fixture, a supplemental fixing fixture, a first dynamometer mechanism, and a second dynamometer mechanism. The fixing fixture which comprising a base panel, four locking devices, two supporting device; the two dynamometer mechanism are both provided with a dynamometer. The fixing fixture and the first dynamometer mechanism are mounted on the base surface of the rack box, the first dynamometer mechanism is arranged in front of the fixing fixture, the supplemental fixing fixture is mounted on the right side wall of the rack box and the second dynamometer mechanism is mounted on the left side wall of the rack box. The two dynamometer mechanisms test the force required to turn adjustment handle or to pull or push the telescoping column with the neck of the steering wheel position adjusting device respectively.
