    摘要: A hydraulic system associated with an engine may include a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic tank, a hydraulic starter and a second pump. The hydraulic system may include a relief valve that allows hydraulic fluid to pass through the relief valve when pressure at the relief valve meets a predetermined pressure. As well, the hydraulic system may include a first solenoid valve and a second solenoid valve. The first solenoid valve may be coupled between the hydraulic pump and the second pump to thereby control fluid flow to the second pump. Additionally, the second solenoid valve may be coupled between the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic starter to thereby control fluid flow to the hydraulic starter.

    摘要: Engine anti-idling and restart may be implemented in a machine having a power source, a movable work tool, a pump driven by the power source, an actuator receiving fluid from the pump and moving the work tool, a high-pressure fluid reservoir, and an assist motor operatively connected to the power source. Engine restart may include detecting operator input to start the power source, and fluidly connecting the fluid reservoir to the assist motor to assist in starting the power source in response to detecting the operator input. Prior to shutting down the power source during anti-idling, fluid from the pump may be input to the assist motor, pressurized and communicated to the high-pressure fluid reservoir in response to determining that idle condition exists and a reservoir charge pressure is less than a reservoir minimum restart pressure needed to restart the power source.

    摘要: Hydraulic apparatus for recovering energy, said apparatus comprising a hydraulic motor, and a high-pressure fluid source and a low-pressure fluid source. The apparatus has: an energy consumption mode, in which the fluid is transferred from the high-pressure fluid source to the low-pressure fluid source while driving the motor in rotation; and an energy accumulation mode, in which, by the action of the motor operating as a pump, the fluid is transferred from the low-pressure source to the high-pressure fluid source. The apparatus further comprises a pressure reducer disposed on a duct interconnecting the two fluid sources. In energy accumulation mode, if the level of the low-pressure source is tending to become excessively low, the reducer opens, enabling fluid to reach the low-pressure fluid source via the first duct.

    摘要: A hydraulic soft-start system includes a flow control valve which is in fluid communication with a pressure source and an inlet of a motor. The system includes a first flow restricting orifice and a second flow restricting orifice disposed between a pilot for actuating the flow control valve and the inlet of the motor. A first flow is passed from the pressure source via the first orifice to an inlet of the motor, placing the motor in a partially-actuated state. The flow control valve is actuated after a threshold pressure of the pilot is reached allowing a second flow to pass from the pressure source to the motor inlet. The second flow is higher than the first flow, thereby placing the motor in a fully-actuated state.

    摘要: A hydrostatic power unit (2) comprises a variable displacement machine with a continuously variable displacement volume and is operated as a pump and motor and is in a drive connection with an internal combustion engine (3). When operated as a pump, the power unit sucks hydraulic fluid out of a tank (9) and delivers into a delivery side (P), and, when operated as a motor, functions as a hydraulic starter to start the internal combustion engine (3). When operated as a motor, the power unit is supplied with hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic accumulator (30). The displacement volume of the power unit (2) is set by a displacement volume control device (60) actuated by a positioning piston device (61) supplied with hydraulic fluid from a charging pressure circuit (23). The power unit (2) includes a supplemental positioning piston device (80) in an operative connection with the displacement volume control device (60) and which is actuated directly by the pressure present in the hydraulic accumulator (30). By means of a connection of the supplemental positioning piston device (80) with the hydraulic accumulator, the power unit (2) can be adjusted to increase the displacement volume to start the internal combustion engine (3).
