The hydraulic start system may include an accumulator and at least two pumps fluidly coupled with and disposed upstream of the accumulator.     摘要: A pumping station for a pipeline, in particular an oil or gas pipeline, has a feed pump for delivering a fluid through the pipeline and a combustion engine for driving the feed pump. A hydrostatic system has a hydraulic motor for driving the combustion engine, in order to accelerate same to start-up. The hydraulic system also has a hydraulic pressure accumulator of limited volume which can be filled with a pressurized hydraulic medium to be admitted to the first hydraulic motor, thereby powering the latter. A pressure differential in the hydrostatic system prevailing over the hydraulic motor is variably adjustable, in order to accelerate the combustion engine to a predefined firing speed.

The system generally includes one or more batteries for storing electricity; an electric motor operably connected to the battery; an internal combustion engine; a vehicle hydraulic system; a first hydraulic pump operably connected to the electric motor for producing hydraulic pressure; a first hydraulic motor operably connected between the first hydraulic pump and the internal combustion engine; a timer valve operably connected between the first hydraulic pump and the first hydraulic motor; a second hydraulic pump operably connected to the internal combustion engine for producing hydraulic pressure; a hydraulic reservoir for storing hydraulic liquid operably connected to the first hydraulic pump, the second hydraulic pump, and the third hydraulic pump; a second hydraulic motor operably connected to the first and second hydraulic pumps; and a motive device operably connected to the second hydraulic motor. While in the ignition stage of the propulsion mode of the system, the battery provides electricity to drive the electric motor which drives the hydraulic pump which provides hydraulic pressure to the first hydraulic motor which operates to start the internal combustion engine, wherein after ignition of the internal combustion engine, the timer valve operates to discontinue hydraulic pressure between the first hydraulic pump and the second hydraulic pump. While in the drive stage of the propulsion mode after and after ignition of the internal combustion engine, the internal combustion engine operates to drive the second hydraulic pump, wherein the first hydraulic pump and the second hydraulic pump operably combine to supply the second hydraulic motor with hydraulic pressure to drive the motive device.

    摘要: A hydrostatic drive system of a mobile machine includes a hydraulic work system and a hydraulic work pump that is driven by an internal combustion engine and, when operated as a pump, takes in hydraulic fluid with a suction side from a tank and, with a delivery side, delivers into a delivery line that leads to the hydraulic work system. A bypass valve is provided with which, when the hydraulic work pump is operated as a motor to start the shut-off internal combustion engine, the volume flow delivered by the hydraulic work pump operated as a motor to the delivery side is diverted to the tank. The bypass valve, in the motor operation to start the shut-off internal combustion engine, is actuated into an open position that connects the delivery side of the hydraulic work pump with the tank.

    摘要: A method for starting an engine uses an actuator, such as a hydraulic or pneumatic pump-motor or an electric linear alternator-starter to move the pistons to a position where the inlet ports are opened. This ensures that air is present in the cylinder in a space where fuel will be admitted and combustion will occur. This strategy compresses, with a minimum actuator capacity, such air to a state that the pressure and temperature satisfy the ignition requirements. The air stores kinetic energy of the moving pistons that partially form the air spring force of the opposite cylinder and partially from the actuator. Accumulation, cycle by cycle, of this stored energy accelerates the piston motion, increases the piston displacement, and increases the compression ratio. The cylinder pressure and temperature increas cycle by cycle until the fuel ignition conditions are satisfied. The actuator force is a periodic force preferably having a frequency that is the same or nearly the same as the natural frequency of the system that includes the inertia of the pistons and other masses reciprocating with the pistons and the variable spring, represented by the compressible air spring in the combustion chamber. When piston displacement reaches a sufficient magnitude, fuel is admitted to the air charge, preferably by injection. The actuator continues to increase piston displacement and the compression pressure of the air-fuel mixture in the cylinder until combustion of that mixture in the first cylinder occurs. Fuel is then admitted to the second cylinder while continuing cyclic displacement of the pistons, and combustion of the fuel-air mixture in the second cylinder occurs.
