摘要: An energy storage and regeneration system that converts irregular, non-constant, and variable input power to regular, constant, and controlled output power using hydraulics whereby the irregular input power is used to pump hydraulic fluid into an accumulator array where it is stored pressurized. Energy is released in a controlled fashion using a hydraulic motor operated by the pressurized hydraulic fluid from the accumulator array, in accordance with the specified power demand. One or more power units may be deployed depending on the amount of energy required at the output. Each power unit includes a hydraulic motor and associated floating accumulator whose internal pressure is controlled to maintain a substantially constant pressure differential across its associated motor. The system can be integrated into various energy system sources including renewable energy such as wind, PV or thermal solar, wave, tidal, etc. as well as various types of vehicles such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, trains, boats, etc.

Energization of the electromagnetic field generating member induces translation of the translational member along a longitudinal axis of the linear motor. The housing further includes a first cylinder including a first chamber and a movable first piston and a second cylinder including a second chamber and a movable second piston. The first and second cylinders are coupled in-line with the linear motor within the housing and translation of the translational member along the longitudinal axis translates the first piston within the first chamber in a first direction and translates the second piston within the second chamber in a second direction opposite the first direction.

摘要: A continuously variable transmission includes two planetary gear sets having two planetary outputs and a planetary output shaft with a first drive gear. A variator drives a ring gear of the second planetary gear set, and a transmission input shaft is driven by the engine, which also drives the variator and the planetary input. Forward and reverse output systems are connected to the planetary output shaft and a transmission output shaft. A first clutch connects the first planetary output to the first drive gear, and a second clutch connects the second planetary output to the first drive gear. A third clutch connects the second planetary output to a second drive gear of the planetary output shaft, with the second drive gear being connected to the forward output system.

摘要: A system for power integration is provided. The system for power integration includes a planetary gear system with a ring gear, a sun gear and a carrier. A supercharger compressor is mechanically coupled to the ring gear, a secondary turbine is mechanically coupled to the sun gear, and a hybrid energy device is mechanically coupled to the carrier. The system is configured for an internal combustion engine (ICE) to be mechanically coupled to the hybrid energy device through the carrier and a first clutch, and a brake may be mechanically coupled to the supercharger compressor via a band brake or second clutch. The system integrates power between the supercharger compressor, secondary turbine, hybrid energy device and ICE such that enhanced fuel economy is provided.
