摘要: Disclosed are a component for a fuel injector and a method for coating the same. The component for the fuel injector may include a base material, a bonding layer laminated on the base material, a support layer laminated on the outer surface of the bonding layer, and an NbSiCN functional layer including an NbCN layer and an SiCN layer and alternately laminated on the outer surface of the support layer, thereby reducing friction, high hardness, shock resistance, heat resistance, and durability of the component for the fuel injector.

摘要: A fuel injection pump includes: a tappet configured to reciprocate by rotation of a cam; a cylinder that supports the tappet to reciprocate; and a plunger configured to reciprocate with the tappet. The tappet includes: a tappet body supported by the cylinder to reciprocate; a pin supported on both sides in an axial direction of the pin by the tappet body; a roller rotatably fitted to an outer peripheral side of the pin; a washer disposed between at least one end surface of the roller in the axial direction and an inner peripheral surface of the tappet body. The washer has at least one protrusion to be in contact with a stopper of the tappet body in either of two rotational directions.

摘要: A method is described for manufacturing a solenoid valve, in particular a fuel injector, the solenoid valve having a valve needle which is movably guided in the axial direction, a magnet core and an armature which is situated axially diametrically opposed to the magnet core, the armature being situated on the valve needle, the armature having a first base material and a first reinforcing element and the magnet core having a second base material and a second reinforcing element. The method has one method step. The first reinforcing element is applied to the first base material and/or the second reinforcing element is applied to the second base material during the method step with the aid of molten bath spraying or with the aid of cold gas spraying.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to internal combustion engines in general. Some embodiments may include a drive device for a high-pressure fuel pump of an internal combustion engine. It may include an eccentric ring in frictional connection with a drive shaft for converting a rotational movement of the drive shaft about a drive shaft rotational axis into a translational movement; a tappet spaced apart from the eccentric ring for passing on the translational movement from the eccentric ring; and at least two pivoting bodies disposed between the eccentric ring surface and the tappet surface and in contact with the eccentric ring surface and with the tappet surface. The eccentric ring may include at least one flat eccentric ring surface. The tappet may include at least one flat tappet surface. The pivoting bodies may each include a respective extension axis running parallel to the drive shaft rotational axis and pivot about the extension axis.

摘要: A fuel injector assembly has a control valve body and a plurality of end caps. End cap locating holes are formed into a mating surface of each end cap, and control valve body locating holes are formed into each mating surface of the control valve body. Locating pins inserted into the end cap and control valve body locating holes each have a fixed portion that affixes the locating pins to either the control valve body or the end cap. In the event of failure of a locating pin between the fixed portion and a free portion of the pins, the free portion maintains alignment of the control valve body locating holes with the end cap locating holes.

摘要: A needle type fuel injector has a needle control chamber at a pressure subject to a control valve in a control valve chamber which in an opening phase is lifted from its seat to expose the control valve chamber, connecting passages, and needle control chamber to a low pressure drain and in a closing phase is urged against the seat to isolate the control valve chamber, connecting passages, and needle control chamber from the drain. Resistance to the flow or displacement of fuel through the control valve seat is provided by a pressure regulating valve as the control valve rapidly closes against its seat, thereby reducing the rate of closure and thus the impact of the control valve on the seat.
