Abstract: An intake system of an internal combustion engine, in which a phase angle between throttle valves is provided in order to perform combustion appropriate for each cylinder so as to stabilize a number of revolutions and thereby suppress generation of unburned gas, is provided. The intake system is provided to intake passages of an internal combustion engine with parallel cylinders. The intake system includes a power transmission mechanism configured to transmit power from a power source to throttle shafts so as to synchronize and simultaneously turn a plurality of throttle valves and thereby open and close the intake passages. At least one of the throttle valves is an angled throttle valve having a phase angle at an open position relative to the other throttle valve.

Abstract: An electronic throttle body with an improved structure includes a throttle body. A plurality of vertically through airflow channels are provided on the throttle body, and a butterfly valve controlling a vent flow and a fuel atomizing ring configured to atomize fuel are arranged in each airflow channel. Centers of one or more butterfly valves are connected in series through rotating shafts to implement linked flipping, the rotating shafts are arranged parallel to each other, a drive gear is fixedly mounted to one end of each rotating shaft extending out of the throttle body coaxially, and the rotating shafts rotate synchronously through a servo driving apparatus. The servo driving apparatus and electrically controlled sprays respond synchronously, thereby improving the combustion efficiency of fuel in an engine. When the engine is idle, butterfly valves are directly driven through the servo driving apparatus to accurately control an air inflow of the engine.

Abstract: A throttle valve for preventing a sudden unintended acceleration, the throttle valve regulating an amount of air supplied to an engine mounted on a vehicle and including a valve main body, a flow path formed in the valve main body and having an inlet through which the air flows in and an outlet connected to the engine, and a flow rate regulating unit regulating an amount of the air in the flow path by opening or closing the flow path, in which, when a rapid pressure drop occurs at the outlet side connected to the engine, the flow rate regulating unit is pressed by a force generated due to a difference in pressure between the inlet and the outlet so as to close the flow path without use of an additional drive source. When a rapid pressure drop occurs at the outlet side connected to the engine, a flow rate regulating unit automatically closes the flow path without use of an additional drive source by being pressed by a force generated due to a difference in pressure between the inlet and the outlet, thereby substantially preventing a vehicle sudden unintended acceleration accident.

Abstract: A control system for an internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders including first and second cylinder groups. The first and second intake systems correspond respectively to the first and second cylinder groups, and first and second throttle valves are provided respectively in the first and second intake systems. An output of the engine is reduced upon deceleration of a vehicle driven by the engine. A pressure parameter indicative of an assisting force generated by a brake booster is detected. An intake negative pressure is supplied to the brake booster from the first and second intake systems. One of the first and second throttle valves is opened to increase the engine output when the pressure parameter is equal to or less than a first threshold value which indicates that the assisting force of the brake booster has decreased.
