    Abstract: A trenchless collector system is configured to intercept and direct surface and/or subsurface fluids to a designated reception location to control groundwater elevations. A target collection and drainage area is identified and a gravity drainage pipe is accessed or trenchlessly installed at the target collection and drainage area. The gravity drainage pipe can be accessed at one or more drawdown points. One end of a collection pipe can be connected to the gravity drainage pipe. Surface and subsurface water is hydrostatically drawn into the collection pipe from the target collection and drainage area through venting at the one end of the collection pipe connected to the gravity drainage pipe. The surface and subsurface water can be passively drained from the collection pipe into the gravity drainage pipe and onto the designated reception location.

    Abstract: An earth drilling device includes a frame and a slide which is movable forward in the feed direction and backwards away from the feed direction. The frame includes a tilting device which causes the slide to incline relative to the frame and the feed axis when the slide is moved backward to the feed direction. An additional drill section may be inserted into the slide when it is inclined, then the slide may be moved forward in the feed direction to feed the additional drill section into the soil. A method for moving a drill section includes moving a slide opposite a feed direction in a frame. A tilting device causes the slide to incline relative to the frame and the feed direction, and an additional drill section is introduced into the slide. Then the slide is moved in the feed direction, feeding the additional drill section into the soil.

    Abstract: A system for cementing a tubular in a wellbore that includes a sleeve made up of an annular housing with a cement seal on outer surface of the housing. The sleeve further includes a sliding block, a stationary block, an arm attached to the sliding block, and a passage formed through a sidewall of the housing, and that receives a free end of the arm. When the sleeve inner bore is pressurized, the arm moves to move the sliding block into an open space in the stationary block. Inserting the sliding block into the open space forms a seal on the outer periphery of the sleeve which forms a barrier to cement flowing in an annulus between the sleeve and inner surface of the wellbore. Lost circulation material can be deposited in the annulus and which settles along an interface between the seal and wellbore wall.

    Abstract: A down-the-hole drilling device, being meant for drilling a hole with and a casing part is described. The drilling device comprises in its drilling head: a drilling arrangement, having first drilling means for drilling a center hole and second drilling means for reaming the center hole for the casing part; and a flushing flow arrangement for feeding of a flushing medium onto a drilling surface of the drilling arrangement by one or more feed channels and for discharging the same from the drilling surface together with drilling waste. The casing part is arranged to be pulled into the hole to be drilled by power influence directed thereto from the drilling arrangement. A feed channel of the flushing flow arrangement at least partly ends up on the drilling surface at a flushing channel that exists in the longitudinal direction of the drilling device essentially behind a rearmost part of the drilling surface of at least of the first drilling means. The flushing flow arrangement comprises on the bottom of the flushing channel a supplementary flushing groove that extends from the feed channel towards the outer periphery of the drilling arrangement.
