Abstract: In the field of decorative floor coverings, decorative panels are known having a MDF (Medium Density Board) or HDF (High Density Board) based core layer on top of which a decorative substrate is attached to provide the panels a desired appearance. The invention relates to a panel, in particular a decorative panel, a floor panel, a ceiling panel or a wall panel. The invention also relates to a floor covering consisting of a plurality of mutually coupled panels.

Abstract: A method to manufacture a bevel at least partly along at least one edge of a building panel, such as a floor panel or wall panel, where the building panel includes a substrate having an inorganic filler of an amount of 50-85 wt % and a polymer-based material. The method including heating at least an edge portion of an edge of the building panel, along which edge the bevel is to be formed, and forming the bevel in the edge portion by applying pressure to the portion, where the bevel is at least partly formed in the substrate.

Abstract: A roofing, cladding or siding module is described. The module comprises an underlapping region adapted to be substantially covered by an exposed region of an adjacent overlapping module when installed on a building surface. A plurality of projections are formed on an underside of the underlapping region. The projections are feet to support the module on the building surface to provide a gap between the module and the building surface, and/or provide a profile on the underside of the underlapping region to define a pathway for air flow between the module and the building surface. Each projection is formed by a downwardly projecting portion of the underlapping region with a corresponding cavity in an upper side of the underlapping region, and the cavity is shaped to prevent or minimize water pooling in the cavity.

Abstract: A method for the continuous in-register embossing of a stretchable film is provided where a repeating printed image or a laminate may be formed by way of the stretchable film in an embossing station. The embossing station may include a rotating embossing roll having an embossed image and an associated rotating counter-roll. The printed image length of the film may be stretched longitudinally before the embossing contact with the embossing roll to a length greater than or equal to or smaller than or equal to the embossed image length or the circumference of the embossing roll. The maintenance of register of the embossing may be achieved by way of a relative speed between the circumferential speed of the embossing roll and the web speed of the film in the embossing station.
