摘要: Provided is a thermosetting resin composition that can satisfy both low transmission loss and radiation performance even under the same curing conditions as those for conventional substrate materials for high-frequency applications, and also provided are an adhesive sheet, a prepreg, and a laminate.
The thermosetting resin composition comprises a maleimide compound having at least two maleimide groups per molecule, a polyphenylene ether compound having at least two reactive organic groups per molecule, a curing accelerator, and an inorganic filler, wherein the inorganic filler is low-sodium aluminum oxide, and the low-sodium aluminum oxide has an Na+ ion content of 10 ppm or less.-

摘要: An epoxy dual cure resin useful for additive manufacturing of three-dimensional objects includes: (i) a photoinitiator; (ii) monomers and/or prepolymers that are polymerizable by exposure to actinic radiation or light; (iii) optionally, a light absorbing pigment or dye; (iv) an epoxy resin; (v) optionally, but in some embodiments preferably, an organic hardener co-polymerizable with the epoxy resin; (vi) optionally but preferably a dual reactive compound having substituted thereon a first reactive group reactive with said monomers and/or prepolymers that are polymerizable by exposure to actinic radiation or light, and a second reactive group reactive with said epoxy resin (e.g., an epoxy acrylate); (vii) optionally a diluent; (viii) optionally a filler; and (ix) optionally, a co-monomer and/or a co-prepolymer. Methods of using the same in additive manufacturing are also described.

摘要: A foundry mix includes a major amount of a foundry aggregate and an effective binding amount of a binder system. The foundry binder system cures in the presence of sulfur dioxide and a free radical initiator. The binder system may include (1) 10 to 70 parts by weight of an epoxy novolac resin; (2) 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of resorcinol; (3) 20 to 70 parts by weight of a monomeric or polymeric acrylate; and (4) an effective amount of a free radical initiator. Notably, (1), (2), (3) and (4) are separate components or mixed with another of said components, provided (4) is not mixed with (3) until a foundry mix is to be created, where said parts by weight are based upon 100 parts of the binder system.

摘要: Embodiments of polyethylene formulations and articles comprising polyethylene formulations are disclosed. The polyethylene formulation may include from 45 wt. % to 90 wt. % of an MDPE having a density of from 0.930 g/cc to 0.950 g/cc and a melt index (I2) from 0.05 g/10 min to 0.5 g/10 min; from 10 wt. % to 50 wt. % of a polyethylene composition having a density from 0.910 g/cc to 0.936 g/cc and a melt index (I2) from 0.7 g/10 min to 1.0 g/10 min; and from 0.5 wt. % to 5% of a masterbatch composition. The polyethylene composition may comprise a first polyethylene fraction area in a temperature range of 45° C. to 87° C. of an elution profile via improved comonomer composition distribution (iCCD) analysis method and a second polyethylene fraction area in a temperature range of 95° C. to 120° C. of an elution profile via iCCD.

摘要: Thermoplastic compositions are disclosed comprising a thermoplastic resin, a first impact modifier characterized by core-shell morphology and comprising a functional shell polymer, and a second impact modifier comprising a component capable of reaction with a functional shell polymer. In addition, thermoplastic compositions are also disclosed that comprise a thermoplastic resin and a loose agglomerations of particles that have open spaces, at least 50% of the loose agglomerations comprise open spaces that measure 31 to 60% by area of the loose agglomeration, and particles that are characterized by core-shell morphology. The inventive compositions demonstrate low gloss, high impact strength, good weatherability, and good flow properties.

摘要: [Purpose] To provide a thermosetting composition with which it is possible to obtain paint films which not only display stain resistance for a short period after application, but with which excellent stain resistance can also be expected for longer periods, and which comply with the paint film properties required for painted steel sheet such as water resistance and bending workability, and have high environmental protection and safety qualities. [Solution] The present invention relates to a thermosetting composition, wherein it contains, as essential components, (A) a polyester resin of number average molecular weight 1,000-10,000 and hydroxyl value 5-200 mg KOH/g and, (B) 0.5 to 2.0 equivalents, relative to the hydroxyl groups of the aforesaid component (A), of a compound (B) which is a blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate compound having reactivity to the hydroxyl groups of component (A), wherein the blocks are methyl ethyl ketone oxime and/or ε-caprolactam, (C) 0.05 to 5 mass %, relative to the total resin solids mass of component (A) and component (B), of an organotin compound represented by the following general formula (I) [Chem.1] R1—Sn-(0)C=0)-R2)3 (I) (R1 in the formula represents an organic group wherein it has 1-24 carbons, and is directly bound to the Sn atom via a C atom. R2 represents an organic group wherein it has 1-24 carbons, and is directly bound to the C atom of the (C═O) via a C atom), and (D) 0.5 to 50 mass %, relative to the total resin solids mass of component (A) and component (B), of an organosilicate represented by the following general formula (II) and/or a condensation product thereof [Chem.2] (R3, R4, R5 and R6 in the formula are each a hydrogen atom or 1-10 carbon organic group, and may be the same or different, n is 1).

摘要: This invention discloses a transparent standalone resin or masterbatch concentrate composition and manufacturing method of transforming commercial transparent grade base thermoplastics into anti-biofouling resins through extrusion or any similar hot melt mixing processes. The re-compound solids enable a number of product reforming processes, including but not limited to thermoforming, profile extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, blow filming, film casting, and spinning into articles of different shapes and geometries or overmolding on plastic substrates that can resist surface adsorption of microbes, mammalian cells, proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, steroids and other cellular constituents after solidification. The articles formed thereof additionally exhibit mechanical reinforcement and no leaching while retain the optical clarity of the base thermoplastics in the same product form as quantified in terms of the light transmittance and haze.
