摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an aromatic polyester-based resin foam molded product having excellent mechanical properties, foamed aromatic polyester-based resin particles for producing the foam molded product, or a method for producing the foamed particles. The present invention relates to foamed aromatic polyester-based resin particles, wherein crystallinity (A) in a particle central portion and crystallinity (B) in a particle surface layer are both 10% or less, and a ratio of the crystallinity in the surface layer to the crystallinity in the central portion (B/A) is 0.3 to 1.4.

摘要: Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.

摘要: A polylactic acid resin composition includes a polylactic acid resin in an amount of 99% by mass or more. A complex viscosity η*(20) of the polylactic acid resin composition is 2×103 Pa·s or higher. A ratio of the complex viscosity η*(20) to a complex viscosity η*(5), which is represented by [η*(20)/η*(5)], is 0.6 or higher. The complex viscosity η*(5) and the complex viscosity η*(20) are complex viscosities respectively measured 5 minutes and 20 minutes after the start of measurement using a parallel plate-type rotary viscometer under measurement conditions below:

Parallel plates: 20 mm in diameter, made of aluminum;
Temperature: 200° C.;
Gap between the parallel plates: 1.00 mm;
Frequency: 1 Hz (6.28 rad/s);

摘要: Provided is a molded resin strand configured so that interlayer fusion of a shaped object can be improved and mechanical aptitude (specifically, stiffness) in a 3D printer can be more improved even in a case where an inorganic filler such as carbon fibers is mixed. The molded resin strand contains thermoplastic resin, an inorganic filler, and α-olefin elastomer. The thermoplastic resin is polypropylene, for example. The inorganic filler is carbon fibers, for example. The α-olefin elastomer is ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, for example. The molded resin strand of the present invention is used for a 3D printer employing a fused deposition modeling method.

摘要: A method of producing a multi-lumen elongate body for a medical device. Unlike known methods requiring a solid core of material inserted into each lumen to maintain patency of the lumens during manufacture, the present method obviates the need for a solid core within one or more minor lumens, which saves cost and production complexity. One or more material overlay and mesh overlay steps may be used to produce the multi-lumen elongate body, but only the main lumen may include a solid core therein during all manufacturing steps. The one or more minor lumens may each be defined by a lumen tube having a sufficient stiffness to withstand external pressure during all manufacturing steps without the need for a solid core within.
