摘要: A foamable polymer composition comprising a crosslinkable polymer, a crosslinking peroxide compound, and a chemical blowing agent comprising a functionalized particulate bicarbonate containing at least one additive. The additive may be selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid, a rosin acid, any derivative thereof, and salts thereof; or any combinations thereof, such as comprising abietic acid, dihydroabietic acid, neoabietic acid, a rosin acid ester, linoleic acid, or mixtures thereof. The particulate bicarbonate may be preferably functionalized by spray-coating, extrusion or co-grinding with at least one additive. The functionalized particulate bicarbonate may further comprise 0.1-5 wt % silica. A process for manufacturing a foamed crosslinked polymer, such as EVA and/or crosslinked polyolefins, and a foamed crosslinked polymer obtained by such process.

摘要: An expanded polypropylene resin bead contains an inorganic pigment, a hindered amine compound, and an ultraviolet light absorber. The ultraviolet light absorber contains an ultraviolet light absorber A having a molecular weight of 360 or more, and a content of the ultraviolet light absorber A in the expanded polypropylene resin bead is 0.010% by mass or more and 2% by mass or less. An expanded polypropylene resin beads molded article is produced by in-mold molding of the expanded polypropylene resin bead.

摘要: The invention relates to a curable volume expandable polymer composition comprising an organic acid component, wherein the organic acid component comprises a first organic acid, a second organic acid, and optionally one or more additional organic acids; wherein said polymer composition, when being heated to an activation of expansion temperature above room temperature, undergoes volume expansion. When the organic acid component is heated to the activation of expansion temperature, the first organic acid and/or the second organic acid and/or the optionally present one or more additional organic acids decarboxylate and thus release carbon dioxide. The polymer composition traps the thus released carbon dioxide thereby causing the polymer composition to undergo volume expansion.

摘要: The invention relates to a foaming process using carbon dioxide solution, comprising: put a parison into the carbon dioxide solution for primary foaming, remove and put the parison into the carbon dioxide solution for secondary foaming to get the foam product. Compared with foaming process using high-pressure gas directly, the foaming process using polar liquid system can get a uniform foam structure with high foaming rate faster, and has good foaming effect for high crystalline polymers. To control the change of temperature and pressure after the introduction of carbon dioxide, the impact and penetration of carbon dioxide on the surface of the crosslinked material can be controlled first, and the solubility of carbon dioxide in the polar system can be improved by further increasing pressure and temperature, thereby promoting the formation of uniform foam structure with high foaming rate in the subsequent heat foaming process.

摘要: Polyol premixes and thermally insulating rigid polyurethane foams, such as those that can be used as a thermal insulation medium in the construction of refrigerated storage devices, are disclosed. A polymer polyol having a OH number of greater than 260 mg KOH/g is utilized. The resulting polyurethane foams can exhibit improved thermal insulation properties without sacrificing other important physical and processing properties.

摘要: A modified silicone resin foam is obtained by curing a foamable liquid resin composition including: 100 parts by weight of a base material resin (A) composed of 65 to 95 parts by weight of a polymer (a) and 5 to 35 parts by weight of a reactive plasticizer (b); 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of a silanol condensation catalyst (B); and 2 to 40 parts by weight of a chemical foaming agent (C). The polymer (a) contains 1.0 to 2.0 reactive silicon groups in a molecular chain and has a main chain comprising oxyalkylene-based units. The reactive plasticizer (b) is a polymer containing 1.0 or fewer reactive silicon groups at one terminal end of a molecular chain and has a main chain comprising oxyalkylene-based units. A percent elongation of the foam is 300 to 1000% in a 25° C. atmosphere.
