摘要: There is described a high-strength concrete generally having: about 100 parts by weight of cement; about 60 to about 360 parts by weight of fine aggregates; about 90 to about 230 parts by weight of mineral powder having a diameter D50 below 150 μm; about 0.1 to about 25 parts by weight of superplasticizer; and about 20 to about 65 parts by weight of water, the high-strength concrete has a cement content less than about 500 kg/m3 and having a compressive strength after 28 curing days of about 55 MPa or greater.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a gypsum panel and a method of making such gypsum panel. For instance, the gypsum panel comprises a gypsum core and a first facing material and a second facing material sandwiching the gypsum core. The gypsum core includes gypsum, a thermal insulation additive, and a shrinkage reduction additive. The gypsum core includes 3 wt. % or less of vermiculite based on the weight of the gypsum in the gypsum core. The gypsum panel passes ASTM E119-20.

摘要: The present invention provides a fiber-reinforced cement composition comprising; cement, fiber, silica, filler, expanded perlite, and polymer. The fiber-reinforced cement composition according to the present invention has low density, high toughness and flexural strength, and not contains volatile composition. When it is molded into workpiece, the workpiece is lightweight, easy to be cut and/or lathed into desired shapes, drilled and fixed with screws and/or repeatedly nailed at the same position, tolerant to humidity, termites and insects, inflammable and does not produce powder when cut, drilled and/or lathed that is hazardous to the workers. Therefore, it is suitably applicable for being utilized as a material for manufacturing furniture parts.

摘要: A cementitious composite and cured masonry block made from the cementitious composite. The cementitious composite contains a cement, a non-rubber aggregate, a crumb rubber and at least one of cement kiln dust and limestone powder. The crumb rubber aggregate is extracted from scrap tires after being processed and then mixed in specified percentages with the aggregate, the cement and water, then cured in forms to make the masonry blocks. In the present disclosure sand, which is used in conventional masonry blocks, is at least partially replaced with crumb rubber to produce a sand-free or sand-reduced masonry block that contains crumb rubber. The crumb rubber masonry blocks satisfy the ASTM non-load bearing requirements. The use of crumb rubber decreases the unit weight and increases thermal resistance of the masonry blocks. The use of cement kiln dust or limestone as a partial replacement of cement will lead to decrease in the cost. The use of industrial waste materials, such as crumb rubber, limestone powder and cement kiln dust, will lead to economic and environmental benefits.

摘要: It has been unexpectedly discovered that the addition of ground-granulated blast-furnace slag to non-spec fly ash significantly improves the properties of the non-spec fly ash to the extent it can be certified under ASTM C618 and AASHTO 295, as either a Class F or Class C fly ash. Other pozzolans may also be used for this beneficiation process. Many pozzolans are experimentally tested and may be used to beneficiate non-spec fly ash into certifiable Class F fly ash. Additionally, this disclosure provides a method of converting a Class C fly ash to a more valuable Class F fly ash. This discovery will extend diminishing Class F fly ash supplies and turn non-spec fly ash waste streams into valuable, certified fly ash pozzolan which will protect and enhance concrete, mortars and grouts.

摘要: The disclosure features methods of forming composite materials, and the composite materials formed by such methods. The methods include forming a mixture that includes a binder material and a filler material, and applying a pressure of at least 10 MPa to the mixture to form the composite material, where the composite material thus formed includes less than 9% by weight of the binder material, less than 18% by volume of the binder material, or both, and has a flexural strength of at least 3 MPa.
