Abstract: A coating composition, a coating glass, a method for preparing a coating composition, and cooking appliances using a coating composition. More specifically, the coating composition may include 20 to 40% by weight of Phosphorus Pentoxide (P2O5), 10 to 25% by weight of 10 to 25% by weight of Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3), 1 to 5% by weight of Zirconium Dioxide (ZrO2), 10 to 30% by weight of at least one of Sodium Oxide (Na2O) and Potassium Oxide (K2O), 5 to 20% by weight of Boric Oxide (B2O3), 5 to 15% by weight of Zinc Oxide (ZnO), and 3 to 10% by weight of Silicon Dioxide (SiO2). Thus, the coating composition has high light transmittance, and excellent cleaning performance.

The enamel composition may be cleaned without being putting it into water.

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lead-free glass composition in which crystallization is suppressed and which has a low softening point. This lead-free glass composition is characterized by containing silver oxide, tellurium oxide and vanadium oxide, and further containing at least one compound selected from among yttrium oxide, lanthanum oxide, cerium oxide, erbium oxide, ytterbium oxide, aluminum oxide, gallium oxide, indium oxide, iron oxide, tungsten oxide and molybdenum oxide as an additional component, and in that the content values (mol %) of silver oxide, tellurium oxide and vanadium oxide satisfy the relationships Ag2O>TeO2≥V2O5 and Ag5O≤2V2O5 when calculated in terms of the oxides, and in that the content of TeO2 is 25-37 mol. %.

Abstract: A method for preparing a laminate substrate for a light emitting device, includes (a) providing a glass substrate having a refraction index of between 1.45 and 1.65, (b) coating a metal oxide layer onto one side of the glass substrate, (c) coating a glass frit having a refractive index of at least 1.7 onto the metal oxide layer, the glass frit including at least 30 weight % of Bi2O3, (d) firing the thus coated glass substrate at a temperature comprised between 530° C. and 620° C. thereby making react the metal oxide with the melting glass frit and forming a high index enamel layer with a plurality of spherical voids embedded in the lower section of the enamel layer near the interface with the glass substrate.

Abstract: A method for producing a coated component consisting of transparent or opaque fused silica comprises a method step in which a SiO2 granulation layer is applied to a coating surface of a substrate, which in the area of the free surface has a relatively great granulation fine fraction. Starting from this, in order to achieve a smooth, preferably also dense surface layer, it is suggested according to the invention that the application of the SiO2 granulation layer comprises (i) providing a dispersion containing a dispersion liquid and amorphous SiO2 particles which form a coarse fraction with particle sizes ranging between 1 μm and 50 μm and a fine fraction of SiO2 nanoparticles having particle sizes of less than 100 nm, wherein the solids content of the dispersion is between 70 and 80 wt.-%, and of which between 2 wt.-% and 15 wt.-% are the SiO2 nanoparticles, (ii) applying the dispersion to the coating surface by casting or spraying it thereonto so as to form a slurry layer having a layer thickness of at least 0.3 mm; and (iii) drying the slurry layer by removing the dispersion liquid at a rate and in a direction such that under the action of the dispersion liquid being removed the fine fraction is enriched in the outer portion of the granulation layer, thereby forming a casting skin.
