Abstract:
The present invention relates to a packaged hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesive comprising a hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesive composition and a coextrusion coating consisting of neat low density polyethylene, neat polypropylene, or neat ethylene vinyl acetate. The present invention further relates to the use of the packaged adhesive formed as individual forms in an adhesive application process, and the use of the packaged adhesive in the production of laminated articles, including nonwoven hygiene articles, disposable medical drapes, and also laminate constructions such as tapes and labels.
Abstract:
A drive and tensioning unit for a scraper chain conveyor, in particular a face conveyor for drum cutter-loader mining apparatus, includes a telescopically configured machine frame having a machine frame base and a machine frame head, which is displaceable relative to the machine frame base by at least one hydraulic cylinder and has bearing recesses for supporting a chain drum shaft. Each hydraulic cylinder is supported at one end in a connecting joint on a side board of the machine frame head and at the other end in a connecting joint on a side wall of the machine frame base. The connecting joints include a recess in the side boards and the side walls and bearing brackets detachably anchorable in the recesses. Each of the recesses provided in the side boards and in the side walls are structurally identical.
Abstract:
A connecting device for connecting an attachment to a side member of a trough pan of an extracting device is provided. The connecting device includes first fittings on a side member and counter fittings on the attachment, which are detachably connectable to the first fittings. At least one retaining piece prevents detachment of fitting and counter fitting. The first fitting tapers upward in a trapeze-shaped manner and the counter fitting tapers upward in a trapeze-shaped manner, so that by a vertical movement, the first fitting and the counter fitting are able to be fitted into each other or to be detached from each other, and the first fitting and counter fitting are provided with locking strips and/or grooves which interlock in a locking state.
Abstract:
The system and method comprising at least one idler wheel for use with a drag chain mechanism. The device for use with the idler wheel has a rotatable shaft for receiving the rotational force of the idler wheel, and transmits that force to a rotation indicator which is external to the enclosed space where the idler wheel is located. The rotation indicator thus provides a reliable method for indicating to an external sensor or operator whether an idler wheel is rotating within acceptable operational parameters.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive and tensioning unit for a scraper chain conveyor, in particular a face conveyor for drum cutter-loader mining apparatus, comprising a telescopically configured machine frame (10) having a machine frame base and a machine frame head, which is displaceable relative to the machine frame base by means of at least one hydraulic cylinder (20) and has bearing recesses (6) for supporting a chain drum shaft, each hydraulic cylinder (20) being supported at one end in a connecting joint (30) on a side board (4) of the machine frame head (2) and at the other end in a connecting joint (30′) on a side wall (15) of the machine frame base (1). in order to improve the unit, the connecting joint (30) comprises a recess in the side board (4) an/or in the side wall (15) and a bearing bracket detachably anchorable in the recess (31), wherein structurally identical recesses are provided in both side boards (4) and in both side walls (15).
Abstract:
A large capacity en masse conveyor for bulk materials includes a centrally positioned link type conveyor chain (26) with transverse flights (71) connected to the underside of the chain links (61) at regular intervals. The flights (71) include a main V-shaped angle member (72) with wear shoes (91, 92), which may be replaceable shoes (172), at its outer ends engageable with longitudinal wear strips (93, 94) adjacent the side walls (41, 42) of the conveyor casing (11). An idler roller (29) is upwardly removable from its support (111) upon removal of the cover (49) and fastening bolts (126) and nuts (127). The roller support (111) is upwardly removable from the casing (11) upon removal of the cover (49) and bolts (132) and nuts (131) by which the support (111) is releasably secured to the casing side walls (41, 42). The roller (29) is positioned sufficiently close to the cover (49) so the flights (71) will engage the cover (49) to prevent the chain from jumping the flanges (136, 137) of the roller (29) should the chain (26) be subjected to undulations of predetermined magnitude.
Abstract:
A scraper chain conveyor with conveyor pans defining a bend round which flight bars are guided in the general plane of the conveyor is provided at the outside of the bend with an auxiliary conveying unit comprising two spaced apart sprockets rotatable about upstanding axes, a line joining the axes being parallel to a tangent to the bend at least when the auxiliary conveying unit is in use, at least one endless auxiliary chain trained round the sprockets, and means for driving the auxiliary chain in a direction such that its chain run adjacent the scraper chain conveyor moves in the direction of feed of the scraper chain conveyor.
Abstract:
A fracture detection system and method for a dumbbell pin of a scraper conveyor. The system comprises a scraper conveyor, a wireless ranging apparatus (2), a wireless communication device, a support controller and a monitoring center. The wireless ranging apparatus (2) is mounted on a ramp plate ledge of a scraper conveyor chute (1), and has a laser range finder and a reflection target plate (24) for detecting a relative displacement between any two adjacent chutes. The wireless communication device realizes communication between the wireless ranging apparatus (2) and the support controller, and transmits the displacement of the laser range finder to the support controller in a wireless transmission manner. The support controller controls an action of the scraper conveyor chute (1). A monitoring center is electrically connected to the support controller, and can perform storage processing on relative displacement data of any adjacent chutes. In the method, by taking a relative displacement value between adjacent chutes as a reference, whether a fracture fault occurs in a dumbbell pin is judged, the position of the fractured dumbbell pin can be accurately determined, and a support controller controls a chute action, thereby having a high promotion and usage value.
