摘要: Dual propeller assemblies for driving engagement by a propeller drive shaft may include at least two propellers having a forward propeller and a rear propeller rearwardly of the forward propeller. The forward propeller may include a forward propeller hub with a forward propeller hub wall having a forward propeller hub outer diameter. A forward propeller hub bore may be formed by the forward propeller hub wall and configured to receive the propeller drive shaft for driving engagement of the forward propeller hub thereby. The forward propeller hub bore may form a passageway for flow of exhaust gas configured to traverse the forward propeller between the propeller drive shaft and the forward propeller hub wall. The rear propeller may include a rear propeller hub with a rear propeller hub wall having a rear propeller hub outer diameter less than the forward propeller hub outer diameter of the forward propeller hub wall of the forward propeller hub. A rear propeller hub bore may be formed by the rear propeller hub wall. The rear propeller hub bore may be configured to receive the propeller drive shaft for driving engagement of the rear propeller hub thereby. The passageway for flow of exhaust gas may be configured to traverse the rear propeller hub wall exterior to the rear propeller hub bore of the rear propeller hub.

摘要: A propeller (20) for a marine vessel (10), the propeller (20) comprising a plurality of propeller blades (24, 26). The propeller blades comprise a leading edge (30), a trailing edge (32) and an outer edge (34) located between the leading edge and the trailing edge. A transition from the leading edge to the outer edge occurs at a first transition point (36) and a transition from the outer edge to the trailing edge occurs at a second transition point (38). A straight line from the first transition point to the second transition point coincides with the outer edge (34) or is located at least partially outside the propeller blade. A smallest distance (D2) from the second transition point to the axis of rotation (A) is smaller than a smallest distance (D\) from the first transition point to the axis of rotation.

摘要: A propeller includes a propeller shaft, a plurality of first blades, and a plurality of second blades. The first blades are connected to the outer peripheral surface of the propeller shaft so as to be rotated synchronously with the propeller shaft. The second blades are connected to the outer peripheral surface of the propeller shaft, so that they are rotated in the same direction as the first blades. The second blades are located in front of the first blades and correspond to the first blades in a one-to-one manner. The size of the second blades is smaller than the size of the first blades, and the rotation direction of the second blades is the same as the rotation direction of the first blades. Thereby, the propeller of the present invention can improve the operation efficiency of the boat at high speed without increasing the size of the first blades.

摘要: Disclosed are a propulsion system for a ship, a method of assembling the same, and a method of disassembling the same. The propulsion system for the ship includes: a rear propeller fixed to a rotary shaft; a front propeller that is rotatably supported on the rotary shaft in front of the rear propeller; a contra-rotating device that is mounted in an installation space at a rear end of a hull so as to reverse the rotation of the rotary shaft and transmit the reversed rotation to the front propeller; a propeller connecting member that connects the contra-rotating device and the front propeller to transmit a rotational force; and a thrust supporting device that is provided between the contra-rotating device and the propeller connection member to support thrust of the front propeller.

摘要: A system for providing marine propulsion is provided including an input shaft driven by a prime mover, a pinion gear coupled to the input shaft, a plurality of planet gears coupled to the pinion gear, a planet carrier having the plurality of planet gears rotationally mounted thereto, and a ring gear surrounding the planet gears and coupled thereto. The planet carrier and ring gear are coupled to internal and external output shafts that are coaxially aligned, which are coupled to aft and forward propulsor elements. The ring gear and planet carrier rotate in opposite directions to provide contra-rotating forward and aft propulsor elements. The ring gear and planet gear are each coupled to rotation altering devices that, when at least one is activated, the rotation of both the planet carrier and ring gear will be altered, thereby altering the rotation of the propulsor elements.
