The brake control device of the present invention is a brake control device for detecting electric signals generated depending on the degree of brake-pedal operation and calculating the driver's demanded braking force based on the electric signals so as to generate the demanded braking force, which comprises an auxiliary power supply source for supplying electric power to the brake control device when there is a malfunction of a vehicle power supply source and controls braking depending on the charged capacity of the auxiliary power supply source.

    摘要: A vehicle motion control device which detects an abnormality of an automatic hydraulic pressure generator having a master cylinder, a booster which boosts the master cylinder and a booster actuator which actuates the booster irrespective of brake pedal operation and performs an appropriate transaction upon detecting the abnormality. The vehicle motion control device includes the automatic hydraulic pressure generator, a hydraulic pressure control valve disposed between the automatic hydraulic pressure generator and a wheel cylinder, and a controller performing the automatic pressure increase control by actuating the hydraulic pressure control valve and the booster actuator according to the vehicle running condition. By calculating a master cylinder hydraulic pressure based on a variable state of the booster actuator and comparing the calculated value with the master cylinder hydraulic pressure detected by a hydraulic pressure sensor, an abnormality of the automatic hydraulic pressure generator is detected during non-operation of the brake pedal.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a vehicle braking system having a stroke simulator and a servo device, which includes a pressure generator for generating a hydraulic braking pressure, a wheel brake cylinder operatively mounted on each wheel of the vehicle, a pressure control valve device which is disposed in a passage for communicating the pressure generator with the wheel brake cylinder, to control the hydraulic braking pressure supplied to the wheel brake cylinder, and an electronic controller for controlling at least in response to an amount of operation of the brake pedal. A master cylinder is provided for communicating with the wheel brake cylinder and supplying the hydraulic braking pressure into it in response to operation of the brake pedal, when at least one of the pressure generator, the pressure control valve device and the electronic controller is abnormal. A stroke simulator is connected to the master cylinder, and arranged to allow the brake pedal to advance in response to the amount of operation of the brake pedal. And, a servo device is provided for assisting the master cylinder to operate when at least one of the pressure generator, the pressure control valve device and the electronic controller is abnormal.

    摘要: An anti-lock braking system for a two-axle all-wheel drive vehicle having two intra-axle differentials and an engageable central inter-axle differential comprises a wheel sensor associated with each of the wheels for determining the rotational behavior of each of the wheels, and a four-channel electronic control circuit for providing individual wheel regulation. The electronic control circuit also detects whether the central differential is engaged or not and whether a malfunction has occurred in one of the channels. If one of the regulating channels has a malfunction and the central differential is not engaged, the electronic control circuit switches off regulation only in the malfunctioning channel. If, however, the central differential is engaged when a malfunction in one of the regulating channels has occurred, then the electronic control circuit switches off both the malfunctioning channel as well as an intact channel associated with a diagonally opposite wheel.
