摘要: A multidirectional wheel for traversing a surface that includes a hub having a first axial direction of rotation. A plurality of rollers are disposed around an outer periphery of the hub. The rollers are mounted for rotation in a second axial direction that is at an angle to the first axial direction. The wheel includes at least one magnet that is mounted to the hub. The hub is made of a magnetically inducible material that concentrates the flux of the at least one magnet toward the surface being traversed. A method for traversing a magnetically inducible surface using the multidirectional wheel is further provided.

摘要: A bicycle ratchet hub assembly includes a ratchet unit and a damping unit located between the hub and the socket unit. The ratchet unit has a ratchet ring in the hub. Multiple recesses are defined in the seat and each have a pawl pivotably located therein. The damping unit is located between the axle and the hub, and includes a damping member which has slots defined therein. A pin protrudes from each of the pawls and movably extends through the corresponding slot. By the damping feature of the damping member, the damping member delays a period of time to begin to rotate, and the pins of the pawls move in the slots and the pawls are pivoted outward to be engaged with the ratchet teeth of the ratchet unit without using any resilient part. A magnetic driving device located in the hub to attract the pawls to be pivoted outward.

摘要: A non-pneumatic tire is disclosed where a resilient wheel is mounted on a rim and the wheel has an inner ring, an outer ring and a plurality of flexible webs interconnected between the inner and outer rings. The flexible webs define openings in through the resilient wheel. The stiffness of the inner wheel at a position adjacent to the inner face is different than the stiffness of the inner wheel at a position adjacent to the outer face. This stiffness difference can be accomplished by providing inflated membranes in at least some of the openings or by molding the wheel with an asymmetric parting line. In addition, the wheels could be dynamically controlled by providing magnetically actuable membranes in some of the openings.

The flickering device flickers using electromotive force, generated by the interaction between magnetic force and a coil unit as a rotating body rotates, as an electric power source. The flickering device has a circuit board. The circuit board includes a sensor for detecting power generated by rotation of a rotating shaft and a speed of an automobile; a timer adapted to receive signals from the sensor, count predetermined time and operate; a cadmium sulfide element for detecting brightness of light and supplying current; a control unit for controlling components; and LEDs adapted to be operated under the control of the control unit.
