    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for laser welding the end faces of the joints (5, 6) of two connecting flanges (3, 4), which are held in an adjoining manner, of two connecting partners (1, 2) made of a steel material. According to the method, in addition to being moved in the advancement direction, which follows the longitudinal extension of the joints (5, 6), the welding laser beam (8) is moved back and forth in an oscillating manner transversely to the advancement direction. At least one of the two connecting partners (1, 2) to be welded at the connecting flange (3, 4) joints (5, 6) is equipped with a metal coating at least in the region of the respective connecting flange (3, 4). The weld pool produced by the energy input during the laser welding process is kept in a liquid state in order to allow degassing processes and/or distribution processes to be carried out in a controlled manner for phases of the metal coating of the at least one connecting partner, said metal coating being integrated by the welding process, wherein the welding laser beam is oscillated at a frequency of at least 80 Hz.

    Abstract: A shaped metal sheet and a liquid-cooled resistor, which is made up of a plurality of shaped metal sheets, are provided. The shaped metal sheets have a first side which is coated with an electrically insulating layer, an electrically conductive device being applied to the electrically insulating layer or embedded therein, and the shaped metal sheets having a second side through which coolant can flow. By connection of a plurality of shaped metal sheets, a coolable resistor is produced, which is very compact, space-saving and scalable.

    Abstract: A welding method materially cohesively bonding at least two components using at least one additive material. A welding seam is produced with a seam course between a seam start and a seam end. The process is controlled using at least one control unit, at least one external physical welding seam property of the welding seam is influenced by a control parameter of the control unit, and information is included in the control parameter. The information, during the process is stored in the welding seam between a start point and an end point in the seam course using the at least one external physical welding seam property so that the information can be read, optically and/or haptically, from a sequence of the at least one detectable external physical welding seam property along the course of the seam in the region between the start point and the end point.
