摘要: A method of detecting rainout in a respiratory therapy system that includes a conduit fluidly coupled to a user interface comprises generating, via at least one microphone, acoustic data representative of noise associated with the respiratory therapy system. The method further comprises analyzing the acoustic data to detect a presence of liquid in the respiratory therapy system. The method further comprises causing an action to be performed, based on the detected presence of the liquid.

摘要: A method includes receiving input action frequency information associated with a user providing user input via a user input device. The method further includes predicting a blood oxygen saturation level based at least in part on the received input action frequency information. The method further includes generating display information based at least in part on the predicted blood oxygen saturation level. The method further includes presenting the display information. In some cases, the display information can include i) an indication of an inference, based on the blood oxygen saturation level, that the user has sleep apnea, ii) an effectiveness score, based on the blood oxygen saturation level, of sleep therapy; iii) a recommended corrective action to improve the user's sleep quality or blood oxygen saturation level; or iv) any combination of i-iii.

摘要: An aerosol delivery system that includes an aerosol generator that aerosolizes a fluid for delivery to a patient as a patient inhales. The aerosol delivery system includes a pump coupled to the aerosol generator that pumps the fluid to the aerosol generator, and a breath sensor that emits a signal as the patient breathes. A controller couples to the aerosol generator, the pump, and the breath sensor. In operation, the controller receives the signal from the breath sensor, controls a flow of fluid to the aerosol generator in response to the signal, and controls the aerosol generator to start aerosolizing the fluid before the patient inhales.

摘要: A control system of a respiratory device for the at least supportive-partial artificial respiration of patients, in particular human patients, comprising a respiratory gas conduit arrangement, a pressure changing arrangement for changing the pressure of respiratory gas in the respiratory gas conduit arrangement during the respiratory operation of the respiratory device, and the control system for controlling the respiratory operation of the respiratory device. The control system has a data input for transmitting operational or/and patient data to the control system. The control system is configured to determine a respiratory operating parameter for the operation of the respiratory device selectively by means of a predetermined first data relationship or by means of a predetermined second data relationship that is different from the first data relationship.

摘要: A method of a processor for detecting a presence of Cheyne-Stokes respiration from a respiration signal includes accessing data representative of a respiration signal. Data is assessed to detect apnea and/or hypopnea events. A cycle length histogram is determined based on the events and an incident of Cheyne-Stokes respiration is detected based on the cycle length histogram.

摘要: An improved system and method of determining a low water and/or water-out condition in a humidifier chamber of a respiratory or surgical humidifier system can use a specific frequency band to detect changes in a temperature of a heater plate. The temperature changes can correlate to the specific heat capacity value of the humidifier chamber. The low water and/or water-out detection process can be performed without having to determine the gases flow rate and/or can be run continuously. A heater plate assembly of the system can include a compliant insulation sheet to improve thermal coupling between the heating element and the top heating plate of the heater plate assembly, thereby improving the low water and/or water-out detection process.

摘要: An integrated system for monitoring conditions of a patient and adjusting treatment for the patient based on comparisons of acquired data and historical data related to the patient includes a central processor, an oxygen concentrator, a level of consciousness monitor and a mobile device. The oxygen concentrator, the level of consciousness monitor and the mobile device are in communication with the central processor. The central processor includes a sleep database having baseline sleep information for a generic patient. The oxygen concentrator is configured to provide a flow of concentrated oxygen to the patient. The level of consciousness monitor is configured to collect data regarding the patient's state of wakefulness, awareness and alertness. The central processor collects data from the oxygen concentrator, the level of consciousness monitor and the mobile device and adjusts the oxygen concentrator based on comparisons of the baseline sleep information and the collected data.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method for accurate leak estimation in a flow generation system includes measuring a total flow through the flow generation system, measuring a pressure in in the primary flow circuit of the flow generation system, determining when the measured pressure is within a predetermined threshold of EPAP, and calculating an intentional leak flowrate and an unintentional leak flowrate based on the relationship QFS(t)=QIL(t)+QUL(t) when the measured pressure is within the predetermined threshold. In another embodiment, a flow generation system includes in one embodiment an airflow generator connected in-line to a flow sensor, a pressure sensor and a patient interface connection by a first gas flow circuit, and a controller electrically coupled to the airflow generator, the flow sensor and the pressure sensor.

摘要: A method includes receiving first physiological data associated with a user. The method also includes determining a first emotion score associated with the user based at least in part on the first physiological data. The method also includes modifying one or more settings of a respiratory therapy system responsive to determining that the first emotion score satisfies a predetermined condition.
