摘要: A wearable computing device includes an input/output port for communicating with an external mobile device, a microphone for receiving speech data, a speaker for outputting audio feedback data, and a mobile processor. The mobile processor is designed to receive detected speech data corresponding to a request to open an application on the external mobile device, transmit the request to the external mobile device, and receive a description of content within the application from the external mobile device. The mobile processor is also designed to transmit the description to the speaker to be output, receive detected speech data corresponding to a request for the external mobile device to perform an action within the application, and transmit the request to the external mobile device. The mobile processor is also designed to receive results of the action from the external mobile device and transmit the results to the speaker to be output.

摘要: Disclosed are devices and methods for mitigating insulin resistance in a human subject by contacting one or more regions of the neck, the supraclavicular, and the interscapular regions of the human subject with a part of a cooling device, wherein the part of the cooling device has a temperature at about 15 or less Celsius degrees; cooling the one or more regions of the neck, the supraclavicular, and the interscapular regions of the human subject for a cooling period of at least 15 minutes; and performing previous two steps daily for about 14 or more days. The devices and methods may also be used to preventing, delaying or treating type 2 diabetes in a human subject or activating brown fat without incurring a sympathetic nerve-mediated cold feeling in a human subject.

摘要: Smart phones capable of detecting electrical impedances of and providing electronic pulse stimuli to acupuncture points located on a human body are disclosed. An example smart phone is equipped with a hardware diagnosis module and a hardware treatment module that function based on the principle of holography of protruding parts of the human body, in addition to having regular smart phone functions. The diagnosis module may receive electrical impedance data detected from protruding parts of a human body and determine the type of illness according to the analog electrical impedance data. The treatment module may generate electronic pulse stimuli on acupoints located on the human body (such as ears, hands and feet), thereby performing electronic acupuncture treatment. The example smart phone may also detect blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen value and blood glucose values of the human body.
